                     ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHAREHOLDERS OF
                       PT MATAHARI DEPARTMENT STORE Tbk

The Shareholders of PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (the “Company”) are hereby notified
that the Company will hold an Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (“AGMS”) on
Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024.

Pursuant to the Company’s Article of Association and Financial Services Authority Regulation
No.15/POJK.04/2020 (“POJK 15/2020”), such notice for AGMS together with all agendas of the
AGMS will be published in KSEI website, IDX website, and Company website on March 12th,
2024.

Those eligible to attend or be presented in the AGMS are:
1. For shares of the Company that have not been registered in the Collective Custody of PT
   Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (“KSEI”), whose names are recorded in the Register of
   Shareholders of the Company on March 8th, 2024 at 04:00 PM;
2. For shares of the Company that are inthe KSEI Collective Custody, only the legitimate
   account holders whose names are registered as shareholders of the Company in securities
   account of the Custodian Bank or Securities Company and in the Register of Shareholders
   of the Company as on March 8th, 2024 at 04:00 PM.

Any suggestion from Shareholders to the Company will be included in the agenda of AGMS if it
meets the requirements set forth in Article 11 paragraph 8 of the Company’s Articles of
Association and Article 16 of POJK 15/2020, in which such suggestions must be received by the
Board of Directors of the Company no later than 7 (seven) days prior to the date of the Notice
of AGMS.

Shareholders who are entitled to attend the AGMS can granting power of attorney to the
Securities Administration Bureau PT Sharestar Indonesia through the Electronic General Meeting
System KSEI (eASY.KSEI) facility on https://easy.ksei.co.id provided by KSEI as a mechanism for
electronically authorizing the Meeting and can attend the AGMS electronically through the KSEI
Electronic General Meeting System application provided by PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia
(“KSEI”). To participate in AGMS electronically, Shareholders can access the website
https://akses.ksei.co.id and follow every procedure and guidelines for using the AKSes.KSEI
facility contained therein.
