Uraian Informasi atau Fakta Material Konsorsium PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE)
(IDX: PGEO) dan PT PLN Indonesia Power (PLN IP)
mencapai kesepakatan tarif listrik dengan PT PLN (Persero)
untuk pengembangan proyek Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga
Panas Bumi (PLTP) Lahendong Bottoming Unit berkapasitas
15 megawatt (MW). Kesepakatan tersebut ditandai dengan
penandatanganan Berita Acara Kesepakatan Tarif yang
dilaksanakan di Bandung, Jawa Barat.
Penandatanganan ini menjadi bagian dari proses
pengembangan proyek sekaligus menegaskan komitmen para
pihak dalam mendorong pemanfaatan energi panas bumi
secara lebih optimal sebagai sumber energi bersih yang
berkelanjutan. Kesepakatan tarif yang dicapai juga merupakan
salah satu langkah penting dalam proses pengadaan
pembangkit melalui skema Independent Power Producer (IPP)
sebelum proyek memasuki tahap pengembangan selanjutnya.
Proyek PLTP Lahendong Bottoming Unit merupakan
pengembangan pembangkit yang memanfaatkan teknologi
binary (bottoming cycle). Teknologi ini mengolah panas sisa
dari operasi pembangkit panas bumi eksisting untuk
menghasilkan tambahan listrik. Melalui pendekatan tersebut,
bottoming cycle memungkinkan pemanfaatan sumber daya
panas bumi secara lebih optimal dengan menangkap energi
panas yang sebelumnya belum dimanfaatkan dalam proses
pembangkitan.

Yani menyampaikan bahwa capaian ini merupakan langkah
lanjutan PGE bersama PLN IP dalam mendukung percepatan
transisi energi nasional berbasis energi bersih.
Kami menyambut baik perkembangan proyek ini yang terus
berjalan sesuai rencana. Pemanfaatan teknologi bottoming
memungkinkan potensi energi panas bumi yang masih
tersedia dari operasi pembangkit eksisting dapat dimanfaatkan
secara lebih optimal. Melalui teknologi ini, panas sisa yang
sebelumnya belum termanfaatkan dapat dikonversi kembali
menjadi listrik, sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi pembangkitan
sekaligus memperkuat kontribusi panas bumi dalam bauran
energi bersih nasional. Ke depan, kami siap melanjutkan
proyek ini ke tahapan berikutnya agar manfaatnya dapat
segera dirasakan oleh masyarakat, ujarnya.
Setelah kesepakatan tarif tercapai, pengembangan proyek
akan dilanjutkan dengan sejumlah tahapan lanjutan. Tahapan
tersebut meliputi pembentukan joint venture, pelaksanaan
proses Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and
Commissioning (EPCC), hingga penyusunan Power Purchase
Agreement (PPA). Melalui tahapan tersebut, proyek ini
ditargetkan dapat mencapai Commercial Operation Date
(COD) pada tahun 2028.
Sebelumnya, pada akhir Desember 2025, PGE dan PLN IP
juga telah mencapai kesepakatan tarif listrik untuk proyek
PLTP Ulubelu Bottoming Unit berkapasitas 30 MW. Kedua
proyek ini merupakan bagian dari sinergi dua afiliasi BUMN di
bawah PT Pertamina (Persero) dan PT PLN (Persero)
tersebut, dalam pengembangan energi panas bumi di 19
proyek eksisting dengan total kapasitas sekitar 530 MW.
Sebagai pionir pengembangan energi panas bumi di Indonesia

dengan pengalaman lebih dari empat dekade, PGE terus
memperluas pemanfaatan potensi panas bumi melalui
berbagai inovasi teknologi serta pengembangan proyek
strategis. Saat ini, PGE mengelola kapasitas terpasang
sebesar 727 MW dari enam wilayah operasi (own operation).
Selain itu, PGE turut mengembangkan sejumlah proyek untuk
mendukung peningkatan kapasitas terpasang dalam beberapa
tahun ke depan.

Description of Material Information or A consortium comprising PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy
Facts Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO) and PT PLN Indonesia Power (PLN
IP) has reached an electricity tariff agreement with PT PLN
(Persero) for the development of the 15-megawatt (MW)
Lahendong Bottoming Unit Geothermal Power Plant (PLTP)
project. The agreement was formalized with the signing of the
Tariff Agreement Minutes, which took place in Bandung, West
Java.
This signing is part of the projects development process and
reaffirms the parties commitment to promoting the more
optimal utilization of geothermal energy as a sustainable clean
energy source. The tariff agreement reached is also a crucial
step in the power plant procurement process through the
Independent Power Producer (IPP) scheme before the project
enters its next development phase.
The Lahendong Bottoming Unit Geothermal Power Plant
project involves the development of a power plant utilizing
binary (bottoming cycle) technology. This technology
processes waste heat from existing geothermal power plant
operations to generate additional electricity. Through this
approach, the bottoming cycle enables more optimal utilization
of geothermal resources by capturing thermal energy that was
previously unused in the power generation process.
Ahmad Yani, President Director of PT Pertamina Geothermal
Energy Tbk, stated that this achievement represents a further
step by PGE and PLN IP in supporting the acceleration of the
national clean energy transition.
We welcome the progress of this project, which continues to
proceed as planned. The use of bottoming technology allows
the remaining geothermal energy potential from existing power
plant operations to be utilized more optimally. Through this
technology, previously unused waste heat can be converted
back into electricity, thereby improving generation efficiency
while strengthening geothermal energys contribution to the
national clean energy mix. Moving forward, we are ready to
advance this project to the next phase so that its benefits can
be felt by the public as soon as possible, he said.
Once a tariff agreement is reached, project development will
proceed through several subsequent phases. These phases
include the formation of a joint venture, the execution of the
Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning
(EPCC) process, and the drafting of a Power Purchase
Agreement (PPA). Through these phases, the project is
targeted to achieve Commercial Operation Date (COD) in
2028.
Previously, in late December 2025, PGE and PLN IP also
reached an agreement on electricity tariffs for the 30-MW
Ulubelu Bottoming Unit geothermal power plant project. These
two projects are part of the synergy between the two state-
owned enterprise affiliates under PT Pertamina (Persero) and
PT PLN (Persero) in the development of geothermal energy
across 19 existing projects with a total capacity of
approximately 530 MW.
As a pioneer in geothermal energy development in Indonesia
with over four decades of experience, PGE continues to
expand the utilization of geothermal potential through various

technological innovations and the development of strategic
projects. Currently, PGE manages an installed capacity of 727
MW across six operational regions (own operations).
Additionally, PGE is developing several projects to support an
increase in installed capacity in the coming years.
