Uraian Informasi atau Fakta Material Jakarta, 15 Januari 2024 - Dalam langkah yang signifikan,
FPT Information System (FPT IS), sebuah perusahaan
terkemuka dalam digital transformation di Vietnam dan wilayah
sekitarnya, serta PT. Metrodata Electronics Tbk., perusahaan
publik ICT terbesar di Indonesia, telah resmi menyepakati
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Memorandum ini
bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kemungkinan bersinergi
dalam pembangunan solusi Digital Transformation kelas
dunia, yang didukung oleh solusi Cloud, Data, dan Artificial
Intelligence, guna menangkap peluang digital Indonesia yang
terus berkembang.
Inisiatif ini menandai langkah penting menuju peningkatan
kerjasama antara bisnis di kedua negara, khususnya dalam
memajukan pengembangan teknologi digital, terutama di
bidang Artificial Intelligence. Tujuan kolaborasi ini adalah
mempersiapkan negara untuk tidak hanya memanfaatkan
teknologi sebagai pengguna, tetapi juga melampaui peran
konvensional sebagai pengguna teknologi, mengembangkan
kapasitas dalam berkreasi dan berinovasi.
Tokoh-tokoh penting yang hadir dalam upacara
penandatanganan yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 13 Januari
2024, yaitu Mr. Tran Dang Hoa, Chairman FPT IS, Bapak
Susanto Djaja, Presiden Direktur Metrodata Electronics,
bersama dengan para pemimpin senior dari kedua organisasi.
MoU tersebut merinci bahwa fokus kerjasama berada pada
pengembangan dan penerapan solusi digital transformation
berbasis teknologi terdepan seperti Cloud Computing, Data,
dan Artificial Intelligence. Kolaborasi ini berpotensi melibatkan
berbagai area kritis:
- Pengembangan pasar untuk aplikasi dan solusi digital
transformation yang disesuaikan dengan wilayah Indonesia,
bertujuan untuk transformasi hijau dan akselerasi digital.
- Inisiatif pendidikan akan difokuskan pada
pengembangan bakat profesional, khususnya pada bidang
data science, machine learning, dan pemrograman Artificial
Intelligence.
- Pembentukan platform infrastruktur Artificial
Intelligence yang tangguh akan mencakup teknologi Cloud dan
GPU.
- Pembuatan model Machine Learning dan aplikasi
Artificial Intelligence yang inovatif.
FPT IS dan Metrodata berkomitmen untuk memanfaatkan
sumber daya dan keahlian maksimal mereka untuk secara
efektif berinvestasi dan mendukung kemungkinan membentuk
usaha patungan dalam waktu dekat. Tujuannya adalah
menjadi penyedia solusi digital transformation terkemuka di
Indonesia, memenuhi standar internasional, dalam waktu lima
tahun ke depan.
Dalam sambutannya, Bapak Susanto Djaja, Presiden Direktur
Metrodata, menyatakan, "Hari ini menandai tonggak penting
ketika PT Metrodata Electronics menindaklanjuti peluang
kemitraan strategis dengan FPT IS. Dalam kolaborasi ini, kami
akan bersama-sama fokus untuk mempromosikan aplikasi
berbasis Artificial Intelligence guna meningkatkan produktivitas
dan mempercepat kemajuan menuju pencapaian tujuan 'Visi
Indonesia 2045'. Tindakan strategis ini sejalan dengan
komitmen kami untuk menjadikan teknologi sebagai mesin
pertumbuhan dan mercusuar bagi pembangunan ekonomi

digital berkelanjutan Indonesia."
Bapak Susanto Djaja menambahkan, "Kita dapat melihat
dengan jelas bahwa ekonomi digital Indonesia menawarkan
banyak peluang dan prospek, dengan proyeksi mencapai USD
1,5 triliun, menyumbang 14% dari PDB. Terutama, infrastruktur
Cloud dan peluang terkait Artificial Intelligence diharapkan
akan berlipat ganda setiap lima tahun. Daya saing digital
Indonesia telah meningkat drastis selama bertahun-tahun,
terutama selama pandemi Covid-19, memberikan kesempatan
bagi perusahaan teknologi seperti FPT IS dan Metrodata untuk
berkontribusi dalam mempercepat pemulihan ekonomi."
Mr. Tran Dang Hoa, Chairman of FPT IS, menekankan bahwa
kolaborasi ini akan menjadi pondasi penting bagi kedua entitas
untuk memanfaatkan potensi internal mereka,
mengembangkan produk dan layanan teknologi, mencapai
status "kelas dunia", dan menciptakan keuntungan
pertumbuhan signifikan bagi bisnis.
Sebagai penekanan lebih lanjut terhadap pengalaman 30
tahun, FPT IS dalam mendukung perkembangan ekonomi
Vietnam dan regional, Mr. Hoa menyoroti keselarasan dengan
perubahan signifikan dalam ekosistem teknologi yang
dikembangkan oleh FPT IS, berbasis pada teknologi inti:
Artificial Intelligence, Data, Cloud, Blockchain, dll. Kolaborasi
ini dengan Metrodata bertujuan untuk membawa produk-
produk yang kompetitif ke pasar internasional.
Dalam kerangka acara tersebut, para pemimpin dari FPT dan
Metrodata berpartisipasi dalam dialog tingkat tinggi selama
kunjungan kenegaraan Presiden Indonesia Joko Widodo ke
Vietnam pada tanggal 11-13 Januari 2024. Kolaborasi antara
FPT IS dan Metrodata, sebagai dua perusahaan ICT
terkemuka dari negara masing-masing, menekankan peran
perusahaan secara efektif untuk mempromosikan kerjasama
strategis antara kedua negara dalam digital and green
transformations. Kontribusi ini bertujuan untuk membentuk
perjalanan kerjasama yang kuat dan berkelanjutan di masa
depan.

Description of Material Information or Jakarta, January 15, 2024 - In a significant move, FPT
Facts Information System (FPT IS), a leading enterprise in digital
transformation in Vietnam and the region, and PT. Metrodata
Electronics Tbk., the largest ICT public company in Indonesia,
have formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This
Memorandum aims to explore the possibility of jointly building
a world-class digital transformation, powered by Cloud, Data,
and Artificial Intelligence solutions, to capture the growing
Indonesian digital opportunity.
The initiative marks a crucial step towards enhancing
cooperation between businesses in the two countries,
particularly in advancing the development of digital technology,
especially in AI. The collaborations objective is to empower the
country not only in utilizing technology but also in transcending
the conventional role of mere technology users, fostering a
capacity for creation and innovation.
Key figures present at the signing ceremony on January 13,
2024 included Mr. Tran Dang Hoa, Chairman of FPT IS, Mr.
Susanto Djaja, President Director of Metrodata Electronics,
along with senior leaders from both organizations.
The MoU outlines that the focus of cooperation is on the
development and deployment of digital transformation
solutions based on leading technologies such as Cloud
Computing, Data, and Artificial Intelligence. The collaboration
potentially encompasses various critical areas:
- Market development for digital transformation
applications and solutions tailored for the Indonesian region
aims to accelerate digital and green transformations.
- Educational initiatives will focus on professional talent
development, specifically in the areas of data science,
machine learning, and AI programming.
- The establishment of a robust AI infrastructure
platform will include Cloud and GPU technologies.
- The creation of innovative Machine Learning models
and AI applications.
FPT IS and Metrodata commit to leveraging their maximum
resources and expertise to effectively invest in and support the
possibility of forming a joint venture in the near future. The
goal is to become the leading provider of digital transformation
solutions in Indonesia, meeting international standards, within
the next five years.
Addressing the event, Mr. Susanto Djaja, President Director of
Metrodata, expressed, "Today marks an important milestone
as PT Metrodata Electronics enters into a strategic partnership
opportunity with FPT IS. In this collaboration, we will jointly
focus on promoting AI-based applications to boost productivity
and expedite progress toward achieving the 'Vision Indonesia
2045' goal. This strategic action aligns with our commitment to
making technology the growth engine and a beacon for
Indonesia's sustainable digital economy development."
Susanto added, "We can clearly see that Indonesia's digital
economy presents numerous opportunities and prospects, with
projections reaching USD 1.5 trillion, accounting for 14% of
GDP. Notably, Cloud infrastructure and AI-related
opportunities are expected to double every five years.
Indonesia's digital competitiveness has improved drastically
over the years, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic,

providing an opportunity for technology enterprises such as
FPT IS and Metrodata to contribute to accelerating economic
recovery."
Mr. Tran Dang Hoa, Chairman of FPT IS, emphasized that the
collaboration would serve as a crucial foundation for both
entities to leverage their internal potential, develop technology
products and services, achieve "world-class" status, and
create significant growth advantages for businesses.
Further emphasizing FPT IS's 30 years of experience in
supporting the development of Vietnamese and regional
economies, Mr. Hoa highlighted the alignment with the
significant changes in the Made by FPT IS technology
ecosystem, based on core technologies: AI, Data, Cloud,
Blockchain, etc. This collaboration with Metrodata aims to
bring competitive products to the international market.
Within the framework of the event, leaders from FPT and
Metrodata participated in a high-level dialogue during the state
visit of Indonesian President Joko Widodo to Vietnam from
January 11-13, 2024. The collaboration between FPT IS and
Metrodata, as two leading ICT companies from their respective
countries, underscores the role of enterprises in effectively
promoting strategic cooperation between the two nations in
digital and green transformations. This contribution aims to
establish a robust and enduring cooperative journey in the
future.
