   PGN Partners with Surge to Develop Gas and Internet Network
   Bundling, Successful Jargas Program for 2.4 Million Households

Jakarta - PT PGN Tbk and PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk - SURGE (WIFI.JK) officially signed a
Memorandum of Understanding related to the Cooperation of Gas Pipeline Network Development and ICT
Service Provision for Household and Commercial Sectors. The signing was carried out by PGN Director
of Strategy and Business Development Rosa Permata Sari and SURGE President Director Yune
Marketatmo.
This collaboration will target 2.4 million households in Java through the provision of internet infrastructure
for PGN, where PGN will provide gas and internet network bundling services at affordable prices to
households. This cooperation is expected to accelerate the penetration and distribution of gas networks and
internet more evenly.
In 2023, there were 835 thousand household gas network connections, and the Government has set a target
of 2.4 million household gas network connections by 2024. One of the efforts made is to involve Surge in
providing traction to accelerate the development of household gas networks that provide added value to
households through affordable internet services.
"This cooperation is part of PGN's affordable and modern solution in utilizing natural gas as daily energy.
Natural gas or Gaskita, which is distributed to customers' homes and available 24 hours, will be equipped
with additional internet services that are beneficial for customers," said PGN's Director of Strategy and
Business Development, Rosa Permata Sari, 18/12/23.
The Jargas and internet bundling package is also expected to increase the market share of natural gas,
especially for households. Through Jargas, PGN wants natural gas as clean energy to be utilized by
households more widely. "The addition of the internet package is expected to further increase people's
interest in switching to using natural gas," said Rosa.
"We very much welcome the collaboration between PGN and SURGE, where we provide ICT infrastructure
for PGN to develop bundling services between gas and internet services that are affordable for all levels of
society. We continue to support the efforts made by the Government in accelerating the provision of
household gas networks that reach 2.4 million households and also provide high added value through
increased reliable and affordable connectivity that will contribute to the improvement of Indonesia's digital
economy," said SURGE President Director, Yune Marketatmo, 18/12/23.
The cooperation between PGN and SURGE will be important to support the government in encouraging
the utilization of natural gas through Jargas in the country. The benefits of the Jargas program can help
reduce LPG imports by 83.5 million Kg per year and save government energy subsidy costs of Rp 474
Billion per year with calculations per number of existing Jargas customers. The benefits of reducing LPG
imports and energy subsidy costs will be greater as the number of household connections increases.
