Uraian Informasi atau Fakta Material Barito Renewables Siap Akuisisi Sidrap Wind dan OMI,
Menambah Portofolio Energi Terbarukan
Jakarta, 8 Desember 2023 - PT Barito Wind Energy, anak
perusahaan Barito Renewables, telah mencapai kesepakatan
secara prinsip (in-principle) hari ini dengan UPC Renewables
Asia Pacific Holdings Pte. Ltd dan ACEN Renewables Pte. Ltd,
membuka jalan untuk akuisisi 100% saham PT UPC Sidrap
Bayu Energy (Sidrap). Terletak di Sulawesi Selatan, Sidrap
adalah pembangkit listrik tenaga angin pertama di Indonesia
dan salah satu yang terbesar di negara ini dengan kapasitas
75 MW. Sebagai bagian dari langkah strategis ini, akuisisi juga
akan mencakup PT Operation and Maintenance Indonesia
(OMI), yang memainkan peran penting dalam mendukung
kegiatan operasional Sidrap.
Semua pihak mengharapkan untuk segera melakukan
transaksi dengan penyelesaian yang diharapkan pada kuartal
pertama 2024, dengan persyaratan dan persetujuan dari
Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) Indonesia. Langkah
signifikan ini menegaskan komitmen Barito Renewables untuk
mendorong solusi energi berkelanjutan dan berkontribusi pada
lanskap energi terbarukan Indonesia.
Hendra Tan, CEO Barito Renewables mengatakan, Kami
sangat senang mengumumkan kesepakatan in-principle
akuisisi strategis ini. Hal ini menandai awal dari jejak langkah
kami di bidang energi terbarukan selain panas bumi yang telah
menjadi bagian integral dari portofolio kami selama puluhan
tahun. Barito Renewables bertekad mendukung perjalanan
Indonesia menuju pencapaian net-zero dan menyediakan
energi bersih baik di dalam Indonesia maupun di luar.
Barito Renewables juga merupakan pemilik dari Star Energy
Geothermal yang mengoperasikan unit-unit Wayang Windu,
Salak, dan Darajat yang terletak di Jawa Barat dengan total
kapasitas terpasang 886 MW.***

Description of Material Information or Barito Renewables Set to Acquire Sidrap Wind and OMI,
Facts Expanding Renewable Energy Portfolio
Jakarta, 8 December 2023 - PT Barito Wind Energy, a
subsidiary of Barito Renewables, has today reached an in-
principle agreement with UPC Renewables Asia Pacific
Holdings Pte. Ltd and ACEN Renewables International Pte.
Ltd, paving the way for the acquisition of 100% shares in PT
UPC Sidrap Bayu Energy (Sidrap). Located in South Sulawesi,
Sidrap is Indonesia's first wind farm and one of the largest in
the country to date with a capacity of 75 MW. As part of this
strategic move, the acquisition will also encompass PT
Operation and Maintenance Indonesia (OMI), which plays a
crucial role in supporting Sidrap's operational activities.
All parties expect to enter into transactions imminently with
completion expected to occur in the first quarter of 2024,
subject to satisfaction of condition precedents and approval
from Indonesia Electricity Company (PLN). This significant
move underscores Barito Renewables' dedication to fostering
sustainable energy solutions and contributing to Indonesia's
renewable energy landscape.

Barito Renewables also owns Star Energy Geothermal which
