Uraian Informasi atau Fakta Material Jakarta, 6 Desember 2023 - Komitmen PT Pertamina
Geothermal Energy Tbk. (PGE) (IDX: PGEO) bersama
Chevron New Energies Holdings Indonesia Ltd. (Chevron)
untuk mengembangkan Wilayah Kerja Panasbumi (WKP) Way
Ratai, Lampung, terus berlanjut. Sebagai wujud nyata, kedua
pihak membentuk Joint Venture Company (JVC) yang
dilanjutkan dengan pengurusan Izin Panas Bumi (IPB) serta
perizinan lainnya.
Hal ini disampaikan pada acara penandatanganan akta
pendirian PT Cahaya Anagata Energy yang dilaksanakan di
Grha Pertamina, Jakarta, Rabu (6/12/2023). Acara
penandatanganan akta pendirian ini dilakukan oleh perwakilan
Chevron New Energies Holdings Indonesia Ltd. Siddharth Jain
dan Direktur Utama PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk,
Julfi Hadi dan disaksikan oleh Chevron Indonesia Country
Manager Wahyu Budiarto serta PTH. Direktur Utama
Pertamina New & Renewable Energy (PNRE) Said Reza
Pahlevy.
"WKP Way Ratai ini sangat strategis dan salah satu yang
terbaik di Indonesia, posisi Way Ratai ini juga memiliki peran
penting sebagai Hub di Sumatera sehingga bisa menambah
nilai dari panas bumi dengan mengembangkan secondary
product khususnya green hydrogen. Kami optimis kerja sama
ini menjadi langkah maju yang positif," kata Direktur Utama PT
Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk, Julfi Hadi.
Julfi mengatakan perusahaan patungan yang diberi nama PT
Cahaya Anagata Energy dalam bahasa sansekerta, kata dia,
Anagata berarti masa depan yang mencerminkan komitmen
berkelanjutan kedua belah pihak dalam mengembangkan
Energi Baru dan Energi Terbarukan (EBT) sebagai energi
masa depan.
"Semua ini berfokus dan sejalan dengan agenda pemerintah
untuk mencapai net zero emission 2060," ujarnya.
Pada kesempatan yang sama PTH. Direktur Utama Pertamina
New & Renewable Energy (PNRE), Said Reza Pahlevy
menyampaikan penandatanganan akta pendirian ini,
menandai langkah maju yang signifikan dalam upaya
mencapai solusi energi berkelanjutan.
"Pendirian PT Cahaya Anagata Energy merupakan bukti
komitmen kami dalam membina kolaborasi dan kemitraan
dalam industri energi baru dan terbarukan. Melalui usaha
patungan ini, kami memanfaatkan pemahaman mendalam
PGE mengenai lanskap panas bumi dan juga pengalaman
luas Chevron di industri ini untuk menjajaki peluang baru untuk
diversifikasi dan transisi energi," tambah Reza.
Adapun 40 persen saham PT Cahaya Anagata Energy dimiliki
oleh PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk. Sisanya sebanyak
60 persen dikantongi oleh Chevron.
PT Cahaya Anagata Energy akan fokus melakukan eksplorasi
panas bumi di WKP Way Ratai, Lampung, yang akan
dilakukan hingga 2028.
Sebelumnya PGE dan Chevron yang tergabung dalam satu
konsorsium telah diumumkan sebagai pemenang lelang WKP
Way Ratai oleh Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral
(ESDM) pada Juni silam.

Description of Material Information or Jakarta, December 6, 2023 - PT Pertamina Geothermal
Facts Energy Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO) and Chevron New Energies
Holdings Indonesia Ltd. (Chevron)'s commitment to develop
the Way Ratai Geothermal Working Area (WKP) in Lampung
continues. As a tangible manifestation, the two parties formed
a Joint Venture Company (JVC) followed by the processing of
Geothermal License (IPB) and other licenses.
This was conveyed at the signing of the deed of establishment
of PT Cahaya Anagata Energy which was held at Grha
Pertamina, Jakarta, Wednesday (6/12/2023). The signing of
the deed of establishment was carried out by representatives
of Chevron New Energies Holdings Indonesia Ltd. Siddharth
Jain and President Director of PT Pertamina Geothermal
Energy Tbk, Julfi Hadi and witnessed by Chevron Indonesia
Country Manager Wahyu Budiarto and PTH. Said Reza
Pahlevy, President Director of Pertamina New & Renewable
Energy (PNRE).
"Way Ratai WKP is very strategic and one of the best in
Indonesia, Way Ratai's position also has an important role as a
Hub in Sumatra so that it can add value from geothermal by
developing secondary products, especially green hydrogen.
We are optimistic that this cooperation will be a positive step
forward," said President Director of PT Pertamina Geothermal
Energy Tbk, Julfi Hadi.
Julfi said the joint venture company named PT Cahaya
Anagata Energy in Sanskrit, he said, Anagata means future
which reflects the ongoing commitment of both parties in
developing New Energy and Renewable Energy (EBT) as the
energy of the future.
"All of this is focused and in line with the government's agenda
to achieve net zero emission by 2060," he said.
On the same occasion PTH. Said Reza Pahlevy, President
Director of Pertamina New & Renewable Energy (PNRE), said
that the signing of the deed of establishment marked a
significant step forward in the effort to achieve sustainable
energy solutions.
"The establishment of PT Cahaya Anagata Energy is a
testament to our commitment in fostering collaboration and
partnership in the new and renewable energy industry.
Through this joint venture, we leverage PGE's deep
understanding of the geothermal landscape as well as
Chevron's extensive experience in the industry to explore new
opportunities for diversification and energy transition," Reza
added.
40 percent of PT Cahaya Anagata Energy shares are owned
by PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk. The remaining 60
percent is pocketed by Chevron.
PT Cahaya Anagata Energy will focus on geothermal
exploration in WKP Way Ratai, Lampung, which will be carried
out until 2028.
Previously, PGE and Chevron, who are members of a
consortium, were announced as the winners of the Way Ratai
WKP auction by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources
(ESDM) in June.
