 Supporting Innovation in the Geothermal Energy Sector,
  Elnusa Develops a Real-time Portable Well Test Device
Jakarta, 28 November 2023 – PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa), through its subsidiary PT Sigma Cipta Utama (SCU), in synergy with PT
Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) is contributing to the digitalization process of a sustainable renewable energy transition.
This is realized through cooperation in developing geothermal well production capacity test equipment to obtain real-time data
that is more accurate, effective and efficient. This device is given the name Geoflowtest.

New Renewable Energy (EBT) as an alternative energy is a solution for the transition from using fossil energy to more
environmentally friendly energy. It is hoped that this synergy between PGE and SCU can be a strategic contribution to accelerating
Indonesia's transition to geothermal energy which is much cleaner and has less pollution.

According to PGE, currently testing activities for well production capacity in the field are still carried out conventionally with a high
level of safety risk and also has the potential to increase the error value in production test result data. The impact is very crucial,
because the data results are used to view well performance and monitor the continuity of geothermal field reservoirs.

Based on these conditions and armed with long-term production-operations experience in the geothermal industry, Mohamad
Husni Mubarok PhD, as Production & Operation Excellence Manager at PGE, succeeded in initiating and developing a design
concept for an innovative Portable Well Test IoT device as an answer to the technology gap and current production test problems.
Furthermore, the development of the concept and manufacturing of the device was carried out by SCU as an IoT device developer.

SCU, which in this case has capabilities in the field of IoT (Internet of Things) as part of its ICT (Information communication and
technology) service competency, was trusted to develop the Geoflowtest device. This device functions to process and present
production test data which has been carried out manually so that it can be accessed in real-time by users, the aim is to increase
data accuracy and efficiency of the time needed to get processed data results from the field to users so that on-going evaluation
and monitoring can be carried out comprehensively.

On 15 – 21 November 2023, the PGE Production and Operation Excellence team and the SCU Research and Technology Center
successfully deployed and tested the equipment in the field with results that met the requirements and met expectations.

SCU Director Adi Yatama Adi Guna, said "This collaboration is a concrete manifestation of SCU's contribution to supporting business
development in the Pertamina Group which can open up potential business opportunities. "Great hopes are placed on the success
of this Real-time Portable Well Test device, because the realization of this tool can be proof that SCU is participating in realizing a
more environmentally friendly energy transition and supporting the net zero emission mission in Indonesia," concluded Adi.
