Following the letter from the Indonesia Stock Ex
No. S-08030/BEI.PP1/09-2023 dated 20 September 2020 regarding the Explanation Request
of Indonesia Stock Exchange, We submit the explanation from PT Aneka Tambang Tbk
("the Company") regarding the news publication in the media. The Company respects the
decision. However, the Company is waiting for a copy of the decision letter to learn its
contents in more detail.
Regarding the request for an explanation from IDX, hereby is the Company's answer as
follows:
1. Does the lawsuit case by Budi Said against the Company have a material impact on the
Company?
Regarding this issue, there is no material impact on the Company's Consolidated
Financial Statements because the Company has recorded provisions in the previous
Financial Statements for the lawsuit in accordance with PSAK 57.
2. That the Company has not been able to determine the materiality level of the impact
of the case, explain the reasons.
As explained in point 1 above.
3. That the Company is required to pay obligations as determined by the court, please
explain:
a. The Company's ability to pay these obligations.
ANTAM has a solid financial position, which is reflected in the position of cash and
cash equivalents at the end of the first six months of 2023.
b. Has the Company made provision for funds in connection with this case?
As part of Our commitment to implementing the principles of Good Corporate
Governance, the Company ensures the management and recording of financial are
carried out in a prudent, accountable, and transparent by complying with the
applicable financial accounting standards. Provisions have been recorded in
previous Financial Statements in accordance with the implementation of PSAK 57.

c. How to analyze the impact of the matter on the Company in terms of operational
activities, finance, legal, and business continuity of the Company.
This does not affect the Company's operational, legal, and business continuity
activities. Moreover, this also has no material impact on the Company's
Consolidated Financial Statements because the Company has recorded provisions
in the previous Financial Statements for the lawsuit in accordance with PSAK 57.
The Company ensures that all business processes run as usual by complying with
Good Corporate Governance and providing optimal services for the customer. The
Company remains optimistic regarding the operational sustainability of the
Company's core commodities (gold, nickel, and bauxite) to achieve production
and sales targets in 2023, as well as the Company's strategic projects.
