Uraian Informasi atau Fakta Material PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO)
kembali mencatatkan tonggak penting dalam pengembangan
panas bumi nasional melalui proyek Pembangkit Listrik
Tenaga Panas Bumi (PLTP) Bukit Daun berkapasitas 2x25
megawatt (MW) dan 2x5 MW. PGE telah menyerahkan
dokumen teknis proyek kepada PT PLN (Persero) sebagai
bagian dari tahapan menuju realisasi proyek.
Penyerahan dokumen ini menjadi fase krusial dalam
pengembangan PLTP Bukit Daun, sekaligus menandai
kesiapan PGE untuk melangkah ke tahap konstruksi dan
operasi komersial. Dokumen tersebut merupakan persyaratan
utama dalam proses evaluasi PLN untuk pembelian tenaga
listrik dari pembangkit Energi Baru dan Terbarukan (EBT)
melalui skema total proyek yang dituangkan dalam Perjanjian
Jual Beli Listrik (PJBL). Melalui tahapan ini, proyek Bukit Daun
memasuki proses penilaian menyeluruh dari sisi teknis,
keekonomian, hingga kesiapan integrasi ke sistem kelistrikan.
Langkah ini sekaligus menegaskan kontribusi PGE dalam
mendukung target perluasan kapasitas pembangkit berbasis
EBT hingga 76 persen pada periode 2025 - 2034
sebagaimana tercantum dalam Rencana Usaha Penyediaan
Tenaga Listrik (RUPTL). PLTP Bukit Daun juga termasuk
dalam daftar potensi panas bumi yang tengah memasuki
tahapan kajian lanjutan, sehingga pengembangannya menjadi
bagian penting dalam memperkuat bauran energi bersih
nasional.
Direktur Eksplorasi dan Pengembangan PT Pertamina
Geothermal Energy Tbk Edwil Suzandi mengatakan, PLTP
Bukit Daun akan memperkuat keandalan sistem kelistrikan
Bengkulu dan sekitarnya, sekaligus mendukung peningkatan
bauran energi bersih nasional.
PGE terus mendorong percepatan pengembangan potensi
panas bumi Bukit Daun sebagai bagian dari komitmen
memperluas pemanfaatan energi bersih di Indonesia. Sejak
2017, proses eksplorasi di area ini telah berjalan untuk
mengoptimalkan sumber daya di area Hululais. Dengan
semakin kuatnya dorongan pemerintah terhadap peningkatan
bauran EBT, kami menilai momentum saat ini tepat untuk
melakukan akselerasi pengembangan. Kami optimistis langkah
ini tidak hanya memperkuat ketahanan energi, tetapi juga
meningkatkan pendapatan daerah serta mendorong
pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal melalui multiplier effect yang nyata
bagi masyarakat. Ini sejalan dengan visi kami dalam menjadi
world leading geothermal producer dan geothermal center of
excellence, ujar Edwil.
Selanjutnya, PGE bersama PLN akan melanjutkan evaluasi
teknis dan komersial secara lebih mendalam, mencakup kajian
reservoir, perancangan fasilitas produksi, hingga skema
interkoneksi ke sistem kelistrikan regional. Tahapan ini
menjadi fondasi penting untuk memastikan proyek berjalan
secara ekonomis, andal, serta berkelanjutan dalam jangka
panjang.
Proyek PLTP Bukit Daun berada di dalam Wilayah Kerja
Panas Bumi (WKP) Hululais yang mencakup Kabupaten
Rejang Lebong dan Kabupaten Lebong, Provinsi Bengkulu.
Kawasan tersebut merupakan salah satu potensi panas bumi
strategis di Sumatra yang berada pada sistem gunung berapi

nonaktif dengan karakteristik geologi yang mendukung
terbentuknya sumber daya panas bumi. Di wilayah yang sama,
PGE juga tengah mengembangkan PLTP Hululais Unit 1 dan
2 berkapasitas 110 MW sebagai bagian dari penguatan
portofolio dan komitmen jangka panjang Perseroan dalam
transisi energi nasional.
Saat ini, PGE mengelola kapasitas terpasang sebesar 727
MW yang tersebar di enam wilayah operasi serta
mengembangkan sejumlah proyek strategis lainnya, termasuk
proyek co-generation bersama PLN Indonesia Power dengan
total kapasitas mencapai 230 MW.

Facts has once again achieved a significant milestone in national
geothermal development through the Bukit Daun Geothermal
Power Plant (PLTP) project with a capacity of 2x25 megawatts
(MW) and 2x5 MW. PGE has submitted the project's technical
documents to PT PLN (Persero) as part of the stages leading
up to the project's realization.
The submission of these documents is a crucial phase in the
development of the Bukit Daun PLTP, while also marking
PGE's readiness to move on to the construction and
commercial operation stages. The documents are a key
requirement in PLN's evaluation process for purchasing
electricity from New and Renewable Energy (EBT) power
plants through a total project scheme outlined in the Power
Purchase Agreement (PJBL). Through this stage, the Bukit
Daun project enters a comprehensive assessment process
from a technical and economic perspective, as well as its
readiness for integration into the electricity system.
This step also confirms PGE's contribution in supporting the
target of expanding EBT-based power plant capacity to 76
percent in the 2025-2034 period as stated in the Electricity
Supply Business Plan (RUPTL). The Bukit Daun Geothermal
Power Plant is also included in the list of geothermal potential
projects currently undergoing further studies, making its
development an important part of strengthening the national
clean energy mix.

Geothermal Energy Tbk Edwil Suzandi said that the Bukit
Daun Geothermal Power Plant will strengthen the reliability of
the electricity system in Bengkulu and its surrounding areas,
while also supporting the increase in the national clean energy
mix.
PGE continues to accelerate the development of the Bukit
Daun geothermal potential as part of its commitment to
expanding the use of clean energy in Indonesia. Since 2017,
exploration in this area has been underway to optimize
resources in the Hululais area. With the government's
increasingly strong push for an increase in the renewable
energy mix, we believe that now is the right moment to
accelerate development. We are optimistic that this step will
not only strengthen energy security, but also increase regional
income and drive local economic growth through a tangible
multiplier effect for the community. This is in line with our vision
of becoming a world-leading geothermal producer and
geothermal center of excellence, said Edwil.
Furthermore, PGE and PLN will continue to conduct more in-
depth technical and commercial evaluations, including
reservoir studies, production facility design, and
interconnection schemes to the regional electricity system.
This phase is an important foundation to ensure that the
project is economically viable, reliable, and sustainable in the
long term.
The Bukit Daun Geothermal Power Plant project is located
within the Hululais Geothermal Working Area (WKP), which
covers Rejang Lebong Regency and Lebong Regency,
Bengkulu Province. This area is one of the strategic
geothermal potentials in Sumatra, located in a dormant

volcanic system with geological characteristics that support the
formation of geothermal resources. In the same area, PGE is
also developing the Hululais Unit 1 and 2 PLTP with a capacity
of 110 MW as part of strengthening the Company's portfolio
and long-term commitment to national energy transition.
Currently, PGE manages an installed capacity of 727 MW
spread across six operational areas and is developing several
other strategic projects, including a co-generation project with
PLN Indonesia Power with a total capacity of 230 MW.
