Uraian Informasi atau Fakta Material PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO)
mendukung pengembangan Green Terminal Tanjung Sekong
melalui pemanfaatan green hydrogen berbasis panas bumi.
Dukungan tersebut ditandai dengan pelaksanaan Kick Off
ESG Initiative Green Terminal Tanjung Sekong di Terminal
LPG Tanjung Sekong, Cilegon, Banten. Keterlibatan ini
menegaskan kontribusi PGE dalam menghadirkan solusi
energi rendah emisi berbasis panas bumi untuk mendukung
keberlanjutan operasional infrastruktur energi strategis
nasional.
Acara Kick Off ESG Initiative, Green Terminal Tanjung Sekong
dihadiri oleh jajaran pimpinan Pertamina Group, antara lain
Direktur Transformasi dan Keberlanjutan Bisnis PT Pertamina
(Persero) Agung Wicaksono, Direktur Utama PT Pertamina
Energy Terminal Bayu Prostiyono, Direktur Operasi PT
Pertamina Energy Terminal Rangga Raditya, Direktur
Perencanaan Bisnis PT Pertamina International Shipping Eka
Suhendra, Direktur Utama PT Elnusa Petrofin Doni Indrawan,

Pertamina Group.
Dalam inisiatif ini, PGE berkontribusi melalui pengembangan
green hydrogen berbasis panas bumi yang bersumber dari
Wilayah Kerja Panas Bumi (WKP) Ulubelu, Lampung. Green
hydrogen tersebut dikembangkan sebagai bagian dari pilot
project dan diarahkan untuk mendukung sistem pembangkit
listrik rendah karbon di Terminal Tanjung Sekong, dengan
target peningkatan porsi pemanfaatan listrik rendah karbon
hingga mencapai sekitar 25 persen dari kebutuhan listrik
operasional terminal secara bertahap.
Direktur Utama PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk, Ahmad
Yani menyampaikan bahwa keterlibatan PGE dalam inisiatif ini
merupakan langkah konkret integrasi energi panas bumi ke
dalam rantai nilai hilir sektor energi.
PGE memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung transisi energi
melalui pemanfaatan panas bumi sebagai sumber energi
bersih yang andal dan berkelanjutan. Melalui pengembangan
green hydrogen berbasis panas bumi, kami mendorong
pemanfaatan end-to-end panas bumi tidak hanya untuk
penyediaan listrik, tetapi juga untuk menciptakan nilai tambah
dan mendukung penerapan energi rendah karbon pada
fasilitas energi strategis, ujar Ahmad Yani.
Integrasi panas bumi ke dalam ekosistem operasional terminal
ini menjadi bagian dari sinergi lintas entitas di lingkungan
Pertamina Group dalam mendukung agenda dekarbonisasi
serta menurunkan emisi yang berasal dari penggunaan listrik
untuk kegiatan operasional terminal. Inisiatif ini juga
mencerminkan pengembangan model pemanfaatan energi
terbarukan yang dapat diterapkan pada fasilitas energi
strategis lainnya.
Terminal LPG Tanjung Sekong merupakan salah satu terminal
LPG terbesar di Indonesia yang dikelola oleh PT Pertamina
Energy Terminal (PET). Dengan kapasitas penyimpanan
mencapai 98.000 metrik ton (MT) dan kemampuan melayani
kapal hingga 65.000 deadweight tonnage (DWT), terminal ini
memasok sekitar 35 - 40 persen kebutuhan LPG nasional dan

berperan vital dalam menjaga stabilitas pasokan energi rumah
tangga.
Melalui dukungan terhadap Green Terminal Tanjung Sekong,
PGE menegaskan komitmennya untuk terus mengembangkan
pemanfaatan panas bumi secara end-to-end, termasuk inovasi
produk turunan seperti green hydrogen, guna mendukung
agenda transisi energi nasional menuju target Net Zero
Emission 2060.

Facts supports the development of the Tanjung Sekong Green
Terminal through the use of geothermal-based green
hydrogen. This support was marked by the launch of the
Tanjung Sekong Green Terminal ESG Initiative at the Tanjung
Sekong LPG Terminal in Cilegon, Banten. This involvement
underscores PGE's contribution in providing low-emission
geothermal-based energy solutions to support the
sustainability of national strategic energy infrastructure
operations.
The Kick Off ESG Initiative event for the Green Terminal
Tanjung Sekong was attended by Pertamina Group
executives, including Director of Transformation and Business
Sustainability of PT Pertamina (Persero) Agung Wicaksono,
President Director of PT Pertamina Energy Terminal Bayu
Prostiyono, Director of Operations of PT Pertamina Energy
Terminal Rangga Raditya, Director of Business Planning at PT
Pertamina International Shipping Eka Suhendra, President
Director of PT Elnusa Petrofin Doni Indrawan, President
Director of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk Ahmad Yani,
Director of Operations at PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy
Tbk Andi Joko Nugroho, as well as Pertamina Group
management and officers.
In this initiative, PGE contributes through the development of
geothermal-based green hydrogen sourced from the Ulubelu
Geothermal Working Area (WKP) in Lampung. The green
hydrogen is being developed as part of a pilot project and is
intended to support a low-carbon power generation system at
the Tanjung Sekong Terminal, with a target of gradually
increasing the share of low-carbon electricity to around 25
percent of the terminal's operational electricity needs.
President Director of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk,
Ahmad Yani, said that PGE's involvement in this initiative is a
concrete step towards integrating geothermal energy into the
downstream energy sector value chain.
PGE has a strategic role in supporting energy transition
through the utilization of geothermal energy as a reliable and
sustainable clean energy source. Through the development of
geothermal-based green hydrogen, we are encouraging the
end-to-end utilization of geothermal energy not only for
electricity supply but also to create added value and support
the implementation of low-carbon energy in strategic energy
facilities, said Ahmad Yani.
The integration of geothermal energy into the terminal's
operational ecosystem is part of the cross-entity synergy within
the Pertamina Group in supporting the decarbonization
agenda and reducing emissions from the use of electricity for
terminal operations. This initiative also reflects the
development of a renewable energy utilization model.
The Tanjung Sekong LPG Terminal is one of the largest LPG
terminals in Indonesia, managed by PT Pertamina Energy
Terminal (PET). With a storage capacity of 98,000 metric tons
(MT) and the ability to serve ships up to 65,000 deadweight
tonnage (DWT), this terminal supplies around 35-40 percent of
the national LPG demand and plays a vital role in maintaining
the stability of household energy supplies.

Through its support for the Green Terminal Tanjung Sekong,
PGE reaffirms its commitment to continuously develop end-to-
end geothermal utilization, including innovations in derivative
products such as green hydrogen, to support the national
energy transition agenda toward the Net Zero Emission 2060
target.
