Uraian Informasi atau Fakta Material PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO)
resmi diumumkan sebagai calon pelaksana Penugasan Survei
Pendahuluan dan Eksplorasi (PSPE) untuk wilayah panas
bumi Cubadak Panti setelah memenangkan proses seleksi
kompetitif oleh Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral
(ESDM). PGE berhasil unggul dengan menempati peringkat
pertama dengan nilai penilaian sebesar 87,01. Selanjutnya,
Perseroan akan melaksanakan ketentuan administratif
sebagaimana diatur oleh Pemerintah.
Wilayah PSPE Cubadak Panti terletak di Kabupaten Pasaman
dan Pasaman Barat, Provinsi Sumatra Barat, mencakup area
seluas 29.897 hektare. Berdasarkan data awal, wilayah ini
diperkirakan memiliki potensi cadangan panas bumi (possible
reserves) sebesar 77 megawatts electric (MWe).
Direktur Eksplorasi dan Pengembangan PT Pertamina
Geothermal Energy Tbk Edwil Suzandi mengungkapkan
semangat Perseroan dalam mengembangkan potensi panas
bumi nasional agar manfaatnya dapat dirasakan masyarakat
luas.
Penugasan ini membuka peluang bagi PGE untuk menambah
cadangan sumber daya panas bumi di luar potensi Wilayah
Kerja Panas Bumi eksisting sebesar 3 gigawatt yang dikelola
saat ini. Hal ini juga mempertegas dukungan perusahaan
terhadap program pemerintah dalam mempercepat transisi
energi, mendorong dekarbonisasi nasional, serta
meningkatkan porsi energi terbarukan dalam bauran energi
atau energy mix Indonesia, kata Edwil.
Pemilihan ini mengacu pada Peraturan Menteri ESDM Nomor
36 Tahun 2017 tentang Tata Cara Penugasan Survei
Pendahuluan dan Penugasan Survei Pendahuluan dan
Eksplorasi Panas Bumi, serta berpedoman pada Dokumen
Pemilihan PSPE Panas Bumi.
Sebagai pionir pengembangan energi panas bumi di Indonesia
dengan pengalaman lebih dari 40 tahun, PGE saat ini
mengelola kapasitas terpasang sebesar 727 megawatt (MW)
dari enam wilayah operasi yang dikelola secara mandiri. PGE
juga tengah mengembangkan sejumlah proyek strategis, di
antaranya Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Panas Bumi (PLTP)
Hululais Unit 1 & 2 (110 MW) serta proyek co-generation
dengan total kapasitas mencapai 230 MW.
Selain proyek-proyek tersebut, PGE juga mempersiapkan
pengembangan PLTP Lumut Balai Unit 3 berkapasitas 55 MW
yang ditargetkan mencapai commercial operation date (COD)
pada 2030. Seluruh portofolio ini menjadi bagian dari upaya
PGE untuk memperkuat kontribusinya dalam mendukung
swasembada energi nasional serta target Net Zero Emission
2060.

Facts has been officially announced as the candidate for the
Preliminary Survey and Exploration Assignment (PSPE) for the
Cubadak Panti geothermal area after winning a competitive
selection process by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral
Resources (ESDM). PGE came out on top, ranking first with a
score of 87.01. The company will now carry out the
administrative requirements as stipulated by the government.
The Cubadak Panti PSPE area is located in Pasaman and
West Pasaman Regencies, West Sumatra Province, covering
an area of 29,897 hectares. Based on preliminary data, this
area is estimated to have geothermal reserves (possible
reserves) of 77 megawatts electric (MWe).
Director of Exploration and Development at PT Pertamina
Geothermal Energy Tbk, Edwil Suzandi, expressed the
Company's enthusiasm in developing the national geothermal
potential so that its benefits can be felt by the wider
community.
This assignment opens up opportunities for PGE to increase
its geothermal resource reserves beyond the existing 3
gigawatt potential currently being managed. This also
reinforces the company's support for the government's
programme to accelerate energy transition, promote national
decarbonisation, and increase the share of renewable energy
in Indonesia's energy mix, said Edwil.
This selection refers to Minister of Energy and Mineral
Resources Regulation No. 36 of 2017 concerning Procedures
for Assigning Preliminary Surveys and Assigning Preliminary
Surveys and Geothermal Exploration, and is guided by the
Geothermal PSPE Selection Document.
As a pioneer in geothermal energy development in Indonesia
with over 40 years of experience, PGE currently manages an
installed capacity of 727 megawatts (MW) from six
independently managed operational areas. PGE is also
developing a number of strategic projects, including the
Hululais Unit 1 & 2 Geothermal Power Plant (110 MW) and a
co-generation project with a total capacity of 230 MW.
In addition to these projects, PGE is also preparing to develop
the Lumut Balai Unit 3 PLTP with a capacity of 55 MW, which
is targeted to reach commercial operation date (COD) in 2030.
This entire portfolio is part of PGE's efforts to strengthen its
contribution in supporting national energy self-sufficiency and
the 2060 Net Zero Emission target.
