Uraian Informasi atau Fakta Material PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO)
terus memperkuat kinerja operasional melalui penerapan
operational excellence yang konsisten di seluruh wilayah kerja.
Hal tersebut disampaikan Perseroan dalam paparan publik
kinerja keuangan (earnings call) semester I-2026 yang
diselenggarakan secara virtual. Strategi tersebut mendorong
peningkatan produksi listrik sekaligus menopang pertumbuhan
kinerja keuangan Perseroan pada semester I-2026.
Produksi listrik PGE pada semester I-2026 mencapai 2.745
gigawatt hour (GWh), meningkat 13,62 persen dibandingkan
periode yang sama tahun lalu. Pertumbuhan tersebut ditopang
oleh kontribusi hampir seluruh wilayah operasi PGE, termasuk
peningkatan produksi di Kamojang, Ulubelu, Lahendong,
Karaha, serta kontribusi penuh PLTP Lumut Balai Unit 2 yang
mulai beroperasi komersial pada akhir Juni 2025. Peningkatan
produksi tersebut turut mendorong pendapatan Perseroan
menjadi US$235,027 juta atau tumbuh 14,7 persen secara
tahunan, serta laba bersih sebesar US$79,605 juta atau
meningkat 15,48 persen dibandingkan semester I-2025.
Direktur Keuangan PGE, Fransetya Hasudungan Hutabarat,
mengatakan kinerja operasional yang solid menjadi pondasi
utama bagi pertumbuhan pendapatan, profitabilitas, dan arus
kas Perseroan pada semester pertama tahun 2026.
Sejalan dengan pertumbuhan produksi listrik sebesar 13,62
persen, Perseroan berhasil membukukan pertumbuhan
pendapatan dan laba yang sehat. Pertumbuhan ini
mencerminkan keberhasilan kami dalam mengoptimalkan
operasi pembangkit untuk memenuhi meningkatnya kebutuhan
listrik nasional. Kualitas pertumbuhan laba Perseroan juga
tetap sangat baik karena sebagian besar peningkatan laba
berasal dari kinerja operasional, sementara faktor non-
operasional hanya memberikan tambahan dukungan, ujar
Fransetya.
Fransetya menambahkan, beroperasinya PLTP Lumut Balai
Unit 2 serta penyelesaian sejumlah aset produktif baru
merupakan tonggak penting dalam strategi pertumbuhan
jangka panjang Perseroan. Seiring mulai beroperasinya aset-
aset tersebut, beban penyusutan meningkat sehingga gross
profit margin tercatat sedikit menurun menjadi 55,5 persen.
Kondisi ini bagian dari ekspansi kapasitas dan investasi yang
dilakukan PGE untuk menciptakan nilai ekonomi yang lebih
besar dalam jangka panjang.
Direktur Operasi PGE, Andi Joko Nugroho, mengatakan
keberhasilan operasi bagi PGE tidak hanya diukur dari
besarnya produksi listrik, tetapi juga dari kemampuan
Perseroan mengoperasikan aset secara aman, andal, dan
efisien untuk mendukung pasokan listrik nasional.
Hal ini kami capai melalui pengelolaan reservoir yang disiplin,
pemeliharaan yang terencana, serta kolaborasi yang erat di
seluruh wilayah kerja, sehingga Perseroan mampu menjaga
keandalan operasi sekaligus mengoptimalkan utilisasi aset.
Keunggulan operasional inilah yang kemudian kami
terjemahkan menjadi peningkatan produksi pada semester
pertama tahun 2026, ujar Andi.
Keandalan operasi tersebut tercermin dari sejumlah indikator
operasional Perseroan. Hingga semester I-2026, PGE
membukukan availability factor sebesar 99,71 persen, capacity
factor sebesar 90,42 persen, serta unplanned outage rate
yang hanya mencapai 0,11 persen. Capacity factor tersebut
jauh berada di atas rata-rata perusahaan panas bumi global
yang umumnya berada pada kisaran 75 hingga 80 persen.
Capaian ini mencerminkan kemampuan Perseroan dalam
mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan aset pembangkit sekaligus

menjaga kualitas operasi secara konsisten.
Pencapaian tersebut didukung oleh berbagai inisiatif
operasional di setiap wilayah kerja. Di Kamojang, peningkatan
produksi ditopang oleh meningkatnya permintaan listrik,
tambahan pasokan uap, serta selesainya penyambungan
pemipaan make-up well yang menambah sekitar 41 MW
kapasitas pasokan uap sejak Maret 2026. Di Ulubelu,
tambahan pasokan uap dari Cluster M sejak Mei 2026
meningkatkan kapasitas listrik sekitar 35 MW yang diiringi
optimalisasi jadwal pemeliharaan sehingga pembangkitan
dapat beroperasi lebih efektif. Sementara itu, Lahendong
mampu menjaga produksi tetap stabil seiring meningkatnya
dispatch listrik dari PLN, Lumut Balai mencatatkan
peningkatan produksi lebih dari dua kali lipat berkat
beroperasinya Unit 2, sedangkan Karaha terus menunjukkan
tren pemulihan positif melalui Karaha Recovery Program.
Keandalan tersebut menjadi modal penting bagi Perseroan
dalam memenuhi kebutuhan listrik yang terus meningkat.
Menurut Andi, tingginya keandalan operasi tersebut
memungkinkan Perseroan merespons peningkatan
permintaan listrik dari PLN sepanjang semester pertama tahun
2026 sekaligus memastikan pasokan listrik panas bumi tetap
andal bagi sistem kelistrikan nasional.
Ke depan, kami akan terus berfokus pada peningkatan
keandalan aset, optimalisasi reservoir, penguatan budaya
keselamatan kerja, serta efisiensi operasi agar Perseroan
mampu mempertahankan tingkat produksi yang tinggi
sekaligus mendukung target pertumbuhan kapasitas jangka
panjang, tambahnya.
Dengan keandalan operasi yang terus terjaga, PGE sebagai
world leading geothermal producer optimistis dapat
mempertahankan pertumbuhan produksi secara berkelanjutan
sekaligus mempercepat pengembangan kapasitas panas
bumi. Berlandaskan operational excellence, inovasi, dan
pengembangan proyek yang berkelanjutan, Perseroan
berkomitmen untuk terus menghadirkan energi bersih yang

Facts continues to strengthen its operational performance through
the consistent implementation of operational excellence across
all its operating areas. The Company conveyed this during its
virtual public presentation of financial results (earnings call) for
the first half of 2026. This strategy has driven an increase in
electricity production while supporting the Companys financial
performance growth in the first half of 2026.
PGEs electricity production in the first half of 2026 reached
2,745 gigawatt-hours (GWh), an increase of 13.62 percent
compared to the same period last year. This growth was driven
by contributions from nearly all of PGEs operating regions,
including increased production at Kamojang, Ulubelu,
Lahendong, and Karaha, as well as the full contribution of the
Lumut Balai Unit 2 geothermal power plant, which began
commercial operations in late June 2025. This increase in
production also drove the Companys revenue to US$235.027
million, a 14.7 percent year-over-year increase, and net
income to US$79.605 million, up 15.48 percent compared to
the first half of 2025.
PGEs Chief Financial Officer, Fransetya Hasudungan
Hutabarat, stated that solid operational performance served as
the primary foundation for the Companys revenue growth,
profitability, and cash flow in the first half of 2026.
In line with a 13.62 percent increase in electricity production,
the Company successfully recorded healthy revenue and profit
growth. This growth reflects our success in optimizing power
plant operations to meet the nations rising electricity demand.
The quality of the Companys profit growth also remains very
strong, as the majority of the profit increase stems from
operational performance, while non-operational factors
provided only supplementary support, said Fransetya.
Fransetya added that the commissioning of the Lumut Balai
Geothermal Power Plant Unit 2 and the completion of several
new productive assets represent key milestones in the
Companys long-term growth strategy. As these assets begin
operations, depreciation expenses have increased, resulting in
a slight decline in the gross profit margin to 55.5 percent. This
situation is part of the capacity expansion and investments
undertaken by PGE to create greater economic value in the
long term.
PGEs Director of Operations, Andi Joko Nugroho, stated that
operational success for PGE is measured not only by the
volume of electricity generated, but also by the Companys
ability to operate its assets safely, reliably, and efficiently to
support the national electricity supply.
We achieve this through disciplined reservoir management,
planned maintenance, and close collaboration across all
operational areas, enabling the Company to maintain
operational reliability while optimizing asset utilization. It is this
operational excellence that we have translated into increased
production in the first half of 2026, said Andi.
This operational reliability is reflected in several of the
Companys operational indicators. As of the first half of 2026,
PGE recorded an availability factor of 99.71 percent, a
capacity factor of 90.42 percent, and an unplanned outage rate
of just 0.11 percent. This capacity factor is well above the
global average for geothermal companies, which generally
ranges from 75 to 80 percent. This achievement reflects the
Companys ability to optimize the utilization of its power
generation assets while consistently maintaining operational
quality.
These achievements were supported by various operational

initiatives in each operating region. In Kamojang, the increase
in production was driven by rising electricity demand,
additional steam supply, and the completion of the make-up
well piping connection, which has added approximately 41 MW
of steam supply capacity since March 2026. At Ulubelu,
additional steam supply from Cluster M since May 2026 has
increased electricity capacity by approximately 35 MW,
accompanied by the optimization of maintenance schedules so
that power generation can operate more effectively.
Meanwhile, Lahendong has been able to maintain stable
production in line with increased electricity dispatch from PLN;
Lumut Balai recorded a more than twofold increase in
production thanks to the operation of Unit 2; and Karaha
continues to show a positive recovery trend through the
Karaha Recovery Program.
This reliability serves as a crucial asset for the Company in
meeting the ever-increasing demand for electricity. According
to Andi, this high operational reliability has enabled the
Company to respond to increased electricity demand from PLN
throughout the first half of 2026 while ensuring that geothermal
power supply remains reliable for the national power system.
Moving forward, we will continue to focus on improving asset
reliability, optimizing reservoirs, strengthening our safety
culture, and enhancing operational efficiency so that the
Company can maintain high production levels while supporting
its long-term capacity growth targets, he added.
With operational reliability consistently maintained, PGE as a
world-leading geothermal producer, is optimistic that it can
sustain production growth while accelerating geothermal
capacity development. Grounded in operational excellence,
innovation, and sustainable project development, the
Company is committed to continuing to provide reliable clean
energy to support national energy security.
