PRESS RELEASE
PT Intikeramik Alamasri Industri Tbk (IKAI) Enters a Comprehensive Recovery
Phase: Strong Performance Momentum in 2025 Sets the Foundation for
Sustainable Growth in 2026
Jakarta, Indonesia, 10 December 2025 — PT Intikeramik Alamasri Industri Tbk
(“IKAI”) presented its year-to-date performance and strategic direction at the 2025
Public Expose themed “The Path to Recovery – Building a Sustainable Future.” The
year 2025 marks a recovery phase during which the Company has undertaken
management restructuring, operational improvements, system enhancements,
resource and infrastructure strengthening, corporate governance upgrades, and
financial fundamental stabilization. With key performance indicators showing a a
significant upward trajectory, IKAI is now confident to progress into the next stage:
the optimization phase.
Financial Recovery: Q4 2025 Marks a Turning Point
By the end of 2025, IKAI recorded several positive indicators that provide a solid
foundation heading into 2026. Supported by strong responses to the Company’s
recovery initiatives, EBITDA grew positively by 16.83% on a quarter-on-quarter
basis throughout 2025. The Company also booked significant revenue expansion
in Q4 2025 (+71% YoY Q-to-Q), while FY 2025 Gross Profit reached IDR 71.87
billion.
This recovery phase enabled major maintenance activities within the
manufacturing segment and drove cost-efficiency and optimization measures that
successfully reduced expenses, energy usage, and maintenance costs. The
recovery was further reinforced by improvements in the hotel segment. Robust
market demand across both business segments contributed meaningfully to the
success of the Company’s recovery trajectory.
IKAI’s Independent Commissioner, Bernardus Djonoputro, expressed confidence
that the Company’s Q4 performance provides a solid baseline for 2026,
particularly in achieving a positive book position and restoring profitability. He
further noted that the “Ceramic Industry and Market Outlook” report, an
independent study prepared by Mandala Consulting, confirms Essenza as the
leader in the Luxurious segment and one of the Top 3 Brands in the ceramic
industry. The study validates the Company’s strategy of positioning Essenza as a
core pillar of growth.
Segment Performance: Manufacturing Strengthens, Hotels Stabilize
Following the completion of the major maintenance cycle, ceramic manufacturing
production recorded strong recovery in Q4, with production volume increasing
significantly by 74% and Profit Margin improving by +196% compared to Q1.
IKAI’s President Director, Desra Ghazfan, stated that these achievements reflect
the success of initiatives to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and operational

optimization within the manufacturing segment, driven by automation, process standardization, and predictive–preventive maintenance. Throughout 2025, the performance of IKAI’s hotel portfolio—measured using industry-standard indicators such as Occupancy and Gross Operating Profit—was above the national average. This includes an Occupancy Rate of 89.63% at Swiss- Belhotel Bogor and 74.56% at Swiss-Belinn Gajah Mada Medan. Although these strong indicators have not yet fully translated into profitability (Net Operating Profit – NOP), improving NOP is a key priority in the recovery phase. The increase in NOP to 8% in Q4, from previously negative quarter-on-quarter levels, demonstrates the success of IKAI’s efforts to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and optimization within the hotel segment. Challenges and Constraints IKAI’s President Commissioner, Willam Eduard Daniel, noted that legacy burdens may affect the pace of the Company’s strategic execution, including substantial historical liabilities, non-performing loans (NPL), legal issues, financial fundamentals, and Going Concern considerations. Mr. Daniel declare that one of company liabilities, PT Internusa Keramik Alamasri’s bank loan to Bank Mandiri, has been fully settled. Regarding the Going Concern status, he emphasized the new management’s commitment to transforming the Company from a loss- making entity into one that delivers sustainable profitability. Strategic Outlook for 2026: Transforming Toward Profitable and Sustainable Growth For 2026, IKAI will focus on four core growth strategies: People and Skill Upgrade, Business Process Modernization, Market Acquisition Program, and Per-segment Operational Targets. In the manufacturing segment, Essenza—as a Top Brand with a substantial market presence confirmed by Mandala Consulting—will be the anchor of multidimensional growth. This includes vertical expansion through increased production capacity, horizontal expansion via product innovation, entry into the Super Luxurious market segment, and strategic alliances with global ceramic industry leaders and world-renowned designers. In the hotel segment, the Company will pursue growth through quality-of-revenue improvements and the creation of new revenue streams. IKAI will continue optimizing commercial strategies across its hotel portfolio and will prioritize a “profitability over volume” approach. Closing Remarks IKAI Commissioner Bernardus Djonoputro expressed appreciation to shareholders, investors, regulators, customers, and all stakeholders for their continued support throughout the recovery period. The Company remains optimistic that its 2025–2026 transformation plans will result in a more resilient, competitive, and sustainable organization.
