Bumi Resources Subsidiaries, Arutmin and KPC Win Prestigious Subroto

Jakarta, November 3, 2025 — PT Bumi Resources Tbk ("Bumi Resources") (IDX: BUMI), the
world's largest exporter of thermal coal and one of Indonesia's leading natural resources
companies, has once again achieved national recognition through its two subsidiaries, PT Arutmin
Indonesia ("Arutmin") and PT Kaltim Prima Coal ("KPC"), which won prestigious awards at the
2025 Subroto Award.

This event was organized by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of
Indonesia and took place at the Grand Ballroom of the Kempinski Hotel Jakarta, on Friday (24/10).

The Subroto Award is the highest form of appreciation from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral
Resources to companies that have made outstanding contributions in the energy and mineral
resources sector.

Arutmin Again Proves Commitment through Community Empowerment Innovation
The 2025 Subroto Award reaffirms Arutmin's commitment to presenting sustainable innovation in
the field of education through the Community Development and Empowerment program.

This award was conferred for the success of the Asa Mandiri Inclusion Program initiated by the
Arutmin North Pulau Laut Coal Terminal (NPLCT) in Kotabaru Regency, South Kalimantan. The
program is a tangible form of Arutmin's commitment to creating a positive impact on the
surrounding communities through increasing access to inclusive, equitable, and sustainable
education.

In its implementation, the Asa Mandiri Inclusion Program has succeeded in reaching people who
have children with special needs by providing therapy and education services for tens of children.
In addition, this program also encourages the formation of an inclusive micro business network
integrated with Arutmin's fostered MSMEs.

Synergy between the communities, local governments, and educational institutions is the key to
the success of this program in creating an inclusive environment, encouraging independence for
people with disabilities, and expanding access to inclusive education in Kotabaru Regency.

pregnant women, development of inclusive education, to community empowerment disabilities."

"This program explains Arutmin’s success in winning the Subroto Cup for two consecutive years,
as a result of the creativity and hard work of the Arutmin NPLCT team. We hope that this
achievement could inspire other companies to continuously contribute to realizing sustainable
development," said Ido Hutabarat, CEO of Arutmin.
