PGN Strengthens Business Fundamentals and Manages Market Dynamics in Q3 2025
Jakarta — PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN), the Gas Subholding of PT Pertamina
(Persero), continues to reinforce its business fundamentals and maintain operational stability
to response market challenges and dynamics throughout the third quarter of 2025. This
strategy is reflected in the Company’s Consolidated Report, which shows improved
performance across most operational segments and comprehensive risk mitigation measures.
PGN’s Corporate Secretary, Fajriyah Usman, stated that PGN ensures energy supply
continuity through the optimization of its natural gas and LNG portfolio, along with intensive
coordination with the Government and other strategic stakeholders. “Ensuring the reliability of
natural gas supply for our customers remains PGN’s top priority. We implement adaptive
volume management and strengthen cross-sector collaboration to secure additional supply
and maintain energy service continuity,” said Fajriyah.
Fajriyah further emphasized that PGN continues to pursue cost efficiency and financial
discipline as part of its risk mitigation and capital structure strengthening strategy. “We apply
prudent cash flow and business portfolio management, including selective prioritization of key
projects. This approach is essential to enhance corporate resilience amid future industry and
business dynamics,” she explained.
As of September 30, 2025, PGN recorded revenues of USD 2.9 billion, an increase of
approximately 3.8% compared to the same period last year. Operating profit and EBITDA
reached USD 383.1 million and USD 728.7 million respectively, while net profit stood at USD
237.9 million. Capital expenditure (CAPEX) realization amounted to USD 173.9 million,
strategically allocated to support long-term growth through key projects.
Throughout Q3 2025, PGN’s operational performance showed positive growth across nearly
all business segments. Natural gas sales volume reached 833.0 BBTUD, gas transmission
volume was 1,622.3 MMSCFD, and oil transportation volume stood at 173,801.2 BOEPD.
From subsidiaries and affiliates, PGN recorded oil and gas lifting of 16,892.4 BOEPD, LNG
regasification of 254.4 BBTUD, and LPG processing of 119.2 metric tons per day. In the
international LNG trading segment, PGN successfully delivered five LNG cargoes, equivalent
to 56.3 BBTUD, to regional markets by the end of September 2025.
Customer base growth also showed a positive trend, with total customers reaching 823,266,
increase of over 6,600 new customers throughout the year, primarily from the household and

small business sectors. This reflects the growing adoption of natural gas as a clean and
efficient energy source among the public.
PGN continues to strengthen its strategic role in supporting the national energy transition
through the development of an integrated national gas infrastructure. This role is further
reinforced by strict and disciplined implementation of HSSE standards to ensure reliable and
safe gas services for customers. As of September 30, 2025, PGN’s HSSE performance
showed positive results, with zero recorded workplace accidents.
In addition, PGN remains committed to sustainability, achieving a decarbonization realization
of 28,387 tCO₂eq by the end of September 2025, primarily driven by energy efficiency through
the use of gas fuel in generators.
