Uraian Informasi atau Fakta Material PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO)
terus meneguhkan komitmennya dalam mengembangkan
ekosistem panas bumi di Indonesia, mendukung ketahanan
energi nasional, sekaligus mendorong Indonesia menuju
transisi energi bersih. Hal ini ditunjukkan Perseroan melalui
partisipasinya dalam The 11th Indonesia International
Geothermal Convention & Exhibition (IIGCE) 2025, di mana
PGE memamerkan berbagai inovasi dan kolaborasi yang
dilakukan Perseroan dalam mendukung Indonesia menjadi
pemimpin panas bumi dunia.
Direktur Utama PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk Julfi
Hadi menyatakan bahwa PGE berperan strategis dalam
akselerasi pemanfaatan panas bumi di Tanah Air. Sebagai
perusahaan panas bumi terbesar di Indonesia, partisipasi kami
di IIGCE 2025 bukan hanya menjadi ajang untuk berbagi
capaian dan inovasi PGE, tetapi juga sarana untuk
mengedukasi publik mengenai manfaat panas bumi. Kami
ingin mengajak seluruh pemangku kepentingan bersama-
sama mempercepat transisi menuju energi bersih melalui
pengembangan panas bumi, ungkap Julfi.
Dalam kegiatan yang berlangsung selama tiga hari ini, PGE
menampilkan beragam teknologi terkini yang menjadi tulang
punggung operasional Perseroan, termasuk Geoflowtest,
perangkat portable ciptaan perwira PGE yang digunakan untuk
menguji kapasitas produksi sumur panas bumi secara real-
time. PGE juga memaparkan progres proyek Pembangkit
Listrik Tenaga Panas Bumi (PLTP) terkini, antara lain PLTP
Hululais Unit 1 & 2 (110 MW) serta beberapa proyek co-
generation dengan kapasitas total mencapai 230 MW yang
tengah dikembangkan.
Unjuk Gigi Inovasi Beyond Electricity
Selain memamerkan capaian dan teknologi, PGE
meneguhkan komitmennya untuk menghadirkan nilai tambah
dari panas bumi melalui inovasi beyond electricity. Inovasi ini
meliputi produk-produk seperti pupuk, gula aren, hingga
furnitur daur ulang yang diproduksi dengan memanfaatkan
energi panas bumi.
PGE juga menyuguhkan pengalaman unik dengan menyajikan
kopi arabika Canaya dan kopi robusta Beloe Klasik. Kedua
produk kopi ini dihasilkan melalui pemanfaatan langsung
panas bumi yang ada di PLTP Kamojang dan PLTP Ulubelu.
Inovasi ini mendapat apresiasi dari Direktur Jenderal Energi
Baru, Terbarukan, dan Konservasi Energi (EBTKE)
Kementerian ESDM Prof. Dr. Eng. Eniya Listiani Dewi, B.Eng.,
M.Eng., IPU. Masyarakat harus tahu bahwa panas bumi tidak
hanya untuk listrik tapi juga untuk masyarakat. Pemanfaatan
langsung uap panas bumi oleh PGE merupakan contoh yang
baik. Ini adalah salah satu kebanggaan Indonesia, ucap Eniya
dalam sesi keynote di IIGCE 2025.
Lebih jauh, PGE memperkenalkan pilot project green
hydrogen Ulubelu yang baru saja dimulai dengan prosesi
groundbreaking pada 9 September 2025. Proyek ini
memanfaatkan pasokan listrik 300 MW dari PLTP Ulubelu Unit
3 untuk memproduksi hingga 100 kg green hydrogen per hari.
Ditargetkan beroperasi pada kuartal III 2026, proyek ini akan
menjadi pusat riset teknologi, kerangka regulasi, hingga model

bisnis green hydrogen yang diharapkan dapat dipasarkan
secara komersial mulai 2033.
Dalam pidatonya di plenary session IIGCE 2025, Direktur
Operasi PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk Ahmad Yani
menegaskan signifikansi proyek ini bagi PGE. Perjalanan ini
tidak hanya akan mendiversifikasi bisnis PGE, namun juga
memosisikan panas bumi sebagai tulang punggung ekonomi
hidrogen di Indonesia. Lebih dari itu, proyek ini menunjukkan
bagaimana Indonesia dapat menjadi yang terdepan dalam
transisi energi global.
Tidak hanya berfokus pada inovasi, PGE juga menjadikan
IIGCE 2025 sebagai momentum untuk memperkuat kolaborasi
strategis. Pada ajang ini, PGE menandatangani dua kerja
sama penting untuk membangun infrastruktur dan rantai pasok
green hydrogen di Indonesia, yaitu Komitmen Kolaborasi
dengan PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia dan Joint
Study Agreement dengan PT Pertamina Energy Terminal
untuk mengembangkan ekosistem green hydrogen di
Indonesia.
Julfi menegaskan pentingnya kerja sama lintas sektor ini.
Transisi energi tidak bisa dilakukan sendiri. Melalui kolaborasi
dengan berbagai mitra dan dukungan Pertamina Group, PGE
ingin membangun ekosistem panas bumi dan green hydrogen
yang terintegrasi secara end-to-end dari hulu hingga hilir.
Dengan begitu, pemanfaatan panas bumi dapat memberikan
nilai tambah secara komersial, mendorong pengembangan
model bisnis off-grid, sekaligus mendukung target Net Zero
Emission 2060.
Digelar di Jakarta pada 17 hingga 19 September 2025, IIGCE
2025 merupakan ajang tahunan terbesar industri panas bumi
yang diselenggarakan oleh Asosiasi Panasbumi Indonesia
(API/INAGA) dengan dukungan Direktorat Jenderal Energi
Baru Terbarukan dan Konservasi Energi (EBTKE)
Kementerian ESDM. Tahun ini, IIGCE mengusung tema
Fostering Collaboration for a Green Economy in Indonesia:
The Role of Geothermal Energy in Sustainable Growth.

Facts continues to strengthen its commitment to developing the
geothermal ecosystem in Indonesia, supporting national
energy security, and encouraging Indonesia to transition to
clean energy. This is demonstrated by the Company through
its participation in the 11th Indonesia International Geothermal
Convention & Exhibition (IIGCE) 2025, where PGE showcases
various innovations and collaborations undertaken by the
Company in supporting Indonesia to become a world leader in
geothermal energy.

Julfi Hadi stated that PGE plays a strategic role in accelerating
the utilization of geothermal energy in Indonesia. As the
largest geothermal company in Indonesia, our participation in
IIGCE 2025 is not only an opportunity to share PGE's
achievements and innovations, but also a means to educate
the public about the benefits of geothermal energy. We want to
invite all stakeholders to jointly accelerate the transition to
clean energy through geothermal development, said Julfi.
During this three-day event, PGE showcased a variety of
cutting-edge technologies that form the backbone of the
Company's operations, including Geoflowtest, a portable
device created by PGE officers that is used to test the
production capacity of geothermal wells in real time. PGE also
presented the progress of its latest geothermal power plant
(PLTP) projects, including the Hululais PLTP Units 1 & 2 (110
MW) and several cogeneration projects with a total capacity of
230 MW currently under development.
Showcasing Innovation Beyond Electricity
In addition to showcasing its achievements and technologies,
PGE reaffirmed its commitment to delivering added value from
geothermal energy through innovations beyond electricity.
These innovations include products such as fertilizers, palm
sugar, and recycled furniture produced using geothermal
energy.
PGE also offered a unique experience by serving Canaya
Arabica coffee and Beloe Klasik Robusta coffee. Both coffee
products are produced through the direct utilization of
geothermal energy at the Kamojang and Ulubelu geothermal
power plants.
This innovation was appreciated by the Director General of
New, Renewable, and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) of the
Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Prof. Dr. Eng.
Eniya Listiani Dewi, B.Eng., M.Eng., IPU. The public should
know that geothermal energy is not only for electricity but also
for the community. PGE's direct utilization of geothermal steam
is a good example. This is one of Indonesia's proud
achievements, said Eniya in her keynote speech at IIGCE
2025.
Furthermore, PGE introduced the Ulubelu green hydrogen pilot
project, which recently began with a groundbreaking ceremony
on September 9, 2025. This project utilizes a 300 MW
electricity supply from the Ulubelu Unit 3 PLTP to produce up
to 100 kg of green hydrogen per day. Targeted to be
operational in the third quarter of 2026, this project will become
a center for technology research, regulatory frameworks, and

green hydrogen business models that are expected to be
commercially marketed starting in 2033.
In his speech at the IIGCE 2025 plenary session, PT
Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk Operations Director Ahmad
Yani emphasized the significance of this project for PGE. This
journey will not only diversify PGE's business, but also position
geothermal energy as the backbone of Indonesia's hydrogen
economy. Moreover, this project demonstrates how Indonesia
can be at the forefront of the global energy transition.
Not only focusing on innovation, PGE also made IIGCE 2025 a
momentum to strengthen strategic collaboration. At this event,
PGE signed two important collaborations to build green
hydrogen infrastructure and supply chains in Indonesia,
namely a Collaboration Commitment with PT Toyota Motor
Manufacturing Indonesia and a Joint Study Agreement with PT
Pertamina Energy Terminal to develop a green hydrogen
ecosystem in Indonesia.
Julfi emphasized the importance of this cross-sector
collaboration. The energy transition cannot be done alone.
Through collaboration with various partners and the support of
the Pertamina Group, PGE aims to build an integrated end-to-
end geothermal and green hydrogen ecosystem from
upstream to downstream. This way, geothermal utilization can
provide commercial added value, encourage the development
of off-grid business models, and support the 2060 Net Zero
Emission target.
Held in Jakarta from September 17 to 19, 2025, IIGCE 2025 is
the largest annual event in the geothermal industry organized
by the Indonesian Geothermal Association (API/INAGA) with
the support of the Directorate General of New, Renewable
Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) of the Ministry of
Energy and Mineral Resources. This year, IIGCE carries the
theme Fostering Collaboration for a Green Economy in
Indonesia: The Role of Geothermal Energy in Sustainable
Growth.
