CORPORATE UPDATE
“ENAK” SHARE BUYBACK
JAKARTA, 25 AGUSTUS 2025. PT Champ Resto Indonesia Tbk (“ENAK” or the “CRI Group”) has announced CRI
Group’s plan to conduct a share buyback with a maximum value of IDR 7 billion during the period from 13 August
2025 to 7 November 2025. Management believes this share buyback initiative reflects CRI Group’s confidence in its
long-term strategy, while also being driven by the current capital market conditions for ENAK shares. The buyback
will be funded using CRI Group’s internal cash, while still considering its impact on growth, innovation, and
operations. Further information on the buyback can be found in CRI Group’s Disclosure of Information.
According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the first half of 2025 closed with a Gross Domestic
Product (GDP) growth of 5.12% year-on-year. Inflation as of June 2025 remained within Bank Indonesia’s projection
at 1.87% year-on-year. However, within the restaurant industry, consumer spending trends are still affected by public
concerns over rising living costs, which remains a challenge for the sector.
In response to these industry challenges, CRI Group remains optimistic that conditions will improve. Moving forward,
outlet expansion through a new outlet acquisition method and the launch of the CRI Super App digital platform will
be the main strategies believed to help broaden consumer reach. Additionally, cost optimization and operational
efficiency are also management initiatives aimed at supporting CRI Group’s performance.
With the strategies in place, through this buyback, CRI Group hopes to enhance shareholder value in the secondary
market while also underscoring the Group’s optimism about its new strategies.
“ We are optimistic that our latest outlet expansion strategy and the optimization of the
CRI Super App will drive strong fundamental performance and enhance brand awareness.
This buyback reflects CRI Groupʼs long-term commitment to its shareholders.”

CEO / Managing Director CRI Group

ENVIRONMENTAL & SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS
In June 2025, CRI Group completed the installation of solar panels at one of its stock points as an initial step in
reducing carbon emissions. This initiative reflects CRI Group’s commitment to lowering emissions and is expected
to improve energy efficiency by utilizing renewable alternative energy sources.
Currently, solar panels are the third largest source of renewable energy after hydropower and wind power. Relying on
sunlight and ease of installation, CRI Group chose solar panels as an environmentally friendly renewable energy
alternative. This implementation marks a significant milestone for CRI Group in its carbon emission reduction efforts.
Theoretically, using solar panels can reduce emissions by 8.18 kg CO2e for every kWh of electricity used annually.
From an operational efficiency perspective, solar panels are expected to save about 15% in electricity expenses.
The solar panel installation is currently in place at CRI Group’s stock point located in Bekasi. This step also supports
Indonesia’s net zero emission program and serves as a starting point for CRI Group to measure the potential of solar
panels in reducing costs and carbon emissions.
In addition to solar panels as an alternative energy source, CRI Group is also exploring other renewable energy
options, such as the use of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in production centers to further reduce emissions and
enhance operational efficiency. By adopting alternative energy, CRI Group is confident it can improve sustainability
and long-term value with positive benefits for its stakeholders.
“ The implementation of solar panels and compressed natural gas will serve as a
benchmark for several renewable energy initiatives to be undertaken by CRI Group.
Beyond the commercial benefits, the adoption of renewable energy reflects CRI
Group’s commitment to enhancing value for its stakeholders.”
