Uraian Informasi atau Fakta Material PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO)
bersama para petani kopi Kamojang mengadakan Panen
Bersama dan Ekspor Perdana Kopi Geotermal Kamojang di
Desa Laksana, Kecamatan Ibun, Kabupaten Bandung, yang
berada di sekitar Wilayah Kerja Panas Bumi (WKP) Kamojang.
Adapun biji kopi yang dipanen berasal dari dua varietas
arabika unggulan, yaitu Andungsari dan USDA.
Panen ini merupakan bagian dari hasil penerapan teknologi
Geothermal Dry House yang dikembangkan PGE bersama
petani sejak 2018. Melalui serangkaian pengamatan, riset, dan
uji coba, teknologi ini lahir sebagai solusi atas tantangan
geografis wilayah Kamojang. Memanfaatkan uap buangan dari
steam trap panas bumi sebagai sumber panas alternatif,
Geothermal Dry House mempercepat proses pengeringan kopi
secara efisien dan ramah lingkungan. Inovasi ini telah
memperoleh hak paten dan menjadi teknologi pertama di
dunia yang secara langsung memanfaatkan energi panas
bumi dalam pengolahan kopi.
Acara ini dihadiri oleh Direktur Jenderal Energi Baru,
Terbarukan, dan Konservasi Energi (EBTKE) Kementerian
ESDM Prof. Dr. Eng. Eniya Listiani Dewi, B.Eng., M.Eng., IPU,
Direktur Panas Bumi, Ditjen EBTKE Kementerian ESDM Gigih
Udi Atmo, S.T., M.EPM., Ph.D, Perwakilan Bidang Keuangan
dan Pengembangan UMKM Kementerian BUMN, Direktur

Dalam sambutannya, Direktur Jenderal Energi Baru,
Terbarukan, dan Konservasi Energi (EBTKE) Kementerian
ESDM Prof. Dr. Eng. Eniya Listiani Dewi, B.Eng., M.Eng., IPU
mengucapkan selamat kepada para petani kopi binaan PGE
atas ekspor perdananya tersebut. Ia mengatakan, Agar
perusahaan bisa terus bergerak maju, pasti perlu inovasi.
Saya melihat PGE dari dulu rohnya luar biasa. Semangat
untuk berinovasi itu sudah lama tumbuh di PGE.
Eniya juga menegaskan bahwa pemerintah mendorong penuh
optimalisasi pemanfaatan panas bumi di Indonesia. Untuk
pemanfaatan direct use seperti ini sedang kita godok di
Peraturan Menteri. Kita mendorong penuh agar ini bisa
terlaksana dengan tumbuhnya masyarakat kita yang makin
tahu dan terlibat panas bumi. Saya pikir juga daerah pasti
nanti mendapat keuntungan yang lebih baik lagi, ungkapnya.
Geothermal Dry House mampu mempercepat proses
pengeringan hingga tiga kali lipat, sehingga biaya operasional
lebih hemat dan kapasitas produksi meningkat. Hasil akhirnya
adalah biji kopi dengan cita rasa lebih kaya dan aroma lebih
kuat dibandingkan metode konvensional. Lewat pendekatan
ramah lingkungan berbasis energi bersih, kopi Kamojang hadir
sebagai produk hijau bernilai tinggi yang siap bersaing di
pasar global.
Direktur Utama PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk Julfi
Hadi mengatakan, kegiatan panen bersama ini menjadi wujud
nyata bahwa panas bumi tak hanya dimanfaatkan untuk
pembangkitan listrik, tetapi juga mampu menggerakkan roda
perekonomian desa dan meningkatkan taraf hidup

masyarakat.
Semangat para petani kopi di Kamojang menjadi inspirasi bagi
PGE untuk terus menghadirkan inovasi yang memberikan
dampak jangka panjang bagi masyarakat. Kami percaya
bahwa pengembangan energi hijau dari panas bumi
seharusnya tidak hanya dimanfaatkan untuk kebutuhan energi
nasional, tetapi juga dapat dirasakan langsung oleh
masyarakat sekitar. Oleh karena itu, kami berkomitmen
membangun ekosistem berkelanjutan yang mendorong
terciptanya ekonomi sirkular berbasis energi panas bumi, agar
manfaatnya bisa dirasakan secara merata dan berkelanjutan
oleh semua pihak, jelasnya.
Saat ini, PGE bermitra dengan 18 kelompok tani dan
memberdayakan 312 petani kopi lokal dengan luas lahan
mencapai 80 hektar yang terletak di sekitar WKP PGE
Kamojang melalui program Geothermal Coffee Process
(GCP). Sepanjang 2024, total penjualan mencapai 4,9 ton
green beans, 640 kilogram roasted beans, dan 17.500
bungkus ground coffee, menghasilkan omzet sebesar Rp
863,9 juta.
Lebih dari itu, panen bersama ini sekaligus menandai ekspor
perdana kopi panas bumi dengan total volume ekspor
mencapai 15 ton ke Asia dan Eropa. Langkah ini menjadi
bentuk pengakuan internasional terhadap kualitas kopi
Kamojang, sekaligus implementasi penerapan ekonomi
sirkular berbasis energi bersih.

Description of Material Information or PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO)
Facts together with Kamojang coffee farmers held a Joint Harvest
and Initial Export of Kamojang Geothermal Coffee in Laksana
Village, Ibun District, Bandung Regency, which is located
around the Kamojang Geothermal Working Area (WKP). The
harvested coffee beans come from two superior arabica
varieties, namely Andungsari and USDA.
This harvest is part of the results of the application of
Geothermal Dry House technology developed by PGE with
farmers since 2018. Through a series of observations,
research, and trials, this technology was born as a solution to
the geographical challenges of the Kamojang region. Utilizing
the exhaust steam from the geothermal steam trap as an
alternative heat source, the Geothermal Dry House
accelerates the coffee drying process efficiently and
environmentally friendly. This innovation has obtained a patent
and is the first technology in the world to directly utilize
geothermal energy in coffee processing.

In her remarks, Director General of New, Renewable Energy
and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) of the Ministry of Energy
and Mineral Resources Prof. Dr. Eng. Eniya Listiani Dewi,
B.Eng., M.Eng., IPU congratulated the PGE-assisted coffee
farmers on their first export. She said, In order for the company
to continue to move forward, it must need innovation. I see that
PGE has always had an extraordinary spirit. The spirit to
innovate has long grown in PGE.
Eniya also emphasized that the government fully encourages
the optimization of geothermal utilization in Indonesia. For
direct use utilization like this, we are working on the Ministerial
Regulation. We fully encourage this so that it can be done with
the growth of our people who increasingly know and are

involved in geothermal. I think also the region will definitely
benefit even better, she said.
The Geothermal Dry House is able to accelerate the drying
process up to three times, resulting in lower operational costs
and increased production capacity. The end result is coffee
beans with richer flavor and stronger aroma than conventional
methods. Through an environmentally friendly approach based
on clean energy, Kamojang coffee comes as a high-value
green product that is ready to compete in the global market.

Julfi Hadi said, this joint harvest activity is a tangible
manifestation that geothermal is not only utilized for electricity
generation, but also able to drive the wheels of the village
economy and improve people's lives.
The spirit of the coffee farmers in Kamojang is an inspiration
for PGE to continue to bring innovations that have a long-term
impact on society. We believe that the development of green
energy from geothermal should not only be utilized for national
energy needs, but also be directly felt by the surrounding
community. Therefore, we are committed to building a
sustainable ecosystem that encourages the creation of a
geothermal energy-based circular economy, so that the
benefits can be felt equally and sustainably by all parties, he
explained.
Currently, PGE partners with 18 farmer groups and empowers
312 local coffee farmers with a land area of 80 hectares
located around WKP PGE Kamojang through the Geothermal
Coffee Process (GCP) program. Throughout 2024, total sales
reached 4.9 tons of green beans, 640 kilograms of roasted
beans, and 17,500 packs of ground coffee, generating a
turnover of Rp 863.9 million.
Moreover, this joint harvest also marked the first export of
geothermal coffee with a total export volume of 15 tons to Asia
and Europe. This step is a form of international recognition of
the quality of Kamojang coffee, as well as the implementation
of a clean energy-based circular economy.
