YW antam PRESS RELEASE PT ANTAM Tbk For immediate release ANTAM Receives ICDX Appreciation for Clean Energy Commitment at Precious Metals Processing and Refinery Business Unit Jakarta, July 10, 2025 — PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), or ANTAM, received an award from the Indonesia Commodity & Derivatives Exchange (ICDX) for its initiative in purchasing Renewable Energy Certificates (REC) used in the operations of the Precious Metals Processing and Refinery Business Unit. The award was presented during the 16th anniversary celebration of ICDX and the Indonesia Clearing House (ICH), held at Hotel Mulia, Jakarta, on Wednesday (9/7). This achievement acknowledges ANTAM's contribution to promoting business practices supporting the clean energy transition and industrial sustainability. ANTAM's Director of Operations and Production, Hartono, explained that the purchase of RECs is part of the Company's strategy to increase the clean energy in Operations practices without compromising the reliability of its current electricity supply. “Through the purchase of REC from ICDX, ANTAM's Precious Metals Processing and Refinery Business Unit has achieved a renewable energy mix of around 9496. This reflects Our commitment to being a responsible industry player, supporting the national decarbonization target, while building a sustainability based competitive advantage,” Hartono stated. He emphasized that ANTAM views the energy transition not merely as a regulatory reguirement, but as an opportunity to drive efficiency, innovation, and added value for the national mining industry. “As the only precious metal producer with an LBMA accredited refinery, We believe that sustainability is the foundation of global competitiveness. ANTAM will continue to strengthen good mining practices, energy efficiency, and green transformation across Our entire supply chain,” Hartono continued. ANTAM's move to use REC's is considered strategic, as it helps create demand for renewable energy-based power plants in Indonesia.
