Uraian Informasi atau Fakta Material Presiden Republik Indonesia Prabowo Subianto meresmikan
pembangunan dan pengoperasian proyek energi terbarukan
yang tersebar di 15 provinsi di Indonesia. Salah satu proyek
yang turut diresmikan adalah proyek eksplorasi (green field)
Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Panas Bumi (PLTP) Gunung Tiga
sebesar 55 megawatt (MW) milik PT Pertamina Geothermal
Energy Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO). Peresmian ini dilakukan
secara simbolis dari Bondowoso, Jawa Timur, sebagai bagian
dari komitmen nasional dalam mempercepat transisi energi
bersih. Proyek PLTP Gunung Tiga menjadi langkah strategis
PGE dalam mendukung pencapaian target peningkatan
kapasitas panas bumi nasional hingga 5,2 gigawatt (GW) pada
periode 2025-2034.
Presiden Prabowo Subianto mengatakan ketersediaan energi
menjadi bagian sangat penting dalam kedaulatan suatu
bangsa. Presiden menyampaikan Indonesia patut bersyukur
karena memiliki sumber-sumber energi yang luar biasa.
Sumber-sumber energi terbarukan ada di kita, tinggal kita
mengelola dengan baik. Hari ini bukti kemampuan bangsa
Indonesia untuk menuju swasembada energi yang sangat
menentukan bagi masa depan bangsa, kata Presiden dalam
sambutannya.
Turut mendampingi Presiden, Menteri Energi dan Sumber
Daya Mineral (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia dalam sambutannya
mengatakan pembangunan pembangkit Energi Baru
Terbarukan (EBT) turut berperan dalam mendorong
pertumbuhan industri lokal dengan tingkat kandungan dalam
negeri (TKDN) mencapai 40% serta menyerap lebih dari 9.500
tenaga kerja secara nasional.
Sebagai bagian dari rangkaian agenda nasional ini, PGE pun
menggelar peletakan batu pertama eksplorasi proyek PLTP
Gunung Tiga di Lampung. Acara ini dihadiri oleh Sekretaris
Daerah Provinsi Lampung Dr. Marindo Kurniawan S.T.,M.M,
Perwakilan Direktorat Panas Bumi Ditjen EBTKE Kementerian
ESDM Bambang Purbiantoro, Wakil Bupati Tanggamus Agus
Suranto, dan Direktur Operasional PT Pertamina Geothermal
Energy Tbk Ahmad Yani.
Hadirnya PLTP Gunung Tiga menjadi sangat strategis bagi
PGE. Direktur Utama PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk
Julfi Hadi mengatakan PLTP Gunung Tiga menjadi salah satu
prospek panas bumi yang berada dalam Wilayah Kerja Panas
Bumi (WKP) Gunung Waypanas, bersama dengan proyek
Ulubelu. Eksplorasi ini ditujukan untuk mengonfirmasi potensi
cadangan energi panas bumi yang diharapkan bisa menjadi
sumber energi bersih berbasis lokal (indigenous energy) guna
memperkuat ketahanan energi dan mendukung pencapaian
target bauran EBT nasional. Sebagai langkah awal,
pembangunan infrastruktur dimulai pada April 2025.
Dengan potensi besar yang kami miliki, kami percaya PGE
akan terus berkontribusi secara signifikan dalam membangun
ekosistem energi hijau yang berkelanjutan, ujarnya.
Lebih jauh Julfi menjelaskan, Gunung Tiga yang terletak di
sebelah selatan area eksisting Ulubelu, memiliki karakteristik
panas bumi yang menjanjikan dan sangat strategis untuk
pengembangan pembangkit panas bumi. Ia menambahkan
keunggulan utama panas bumi terletak pada sifatnya yang

andal dan stabil karena tidak bergantung pada kondisi cuaca
seperti sinar matahari atau angin.
Eksplorasi dilakukan secara bertahap melalui tiga sumur,
dengan menerapkan standar keselamatan yang ketat,
perlindungan lingkungan, serta pengelolaan risiko yang
menyeluruh. Seluruh aktivitas telah melalui kajian Analisis
Mengenai Dampak Lingkungan (AMDAL), dan setiap tahap
akan diawasi ketat guna untuk meminimalkan dampak
terhadap ekosistem sekitar, jelas Julfi.
Sebagai pionir pengembangan energi panas bumi di Indonesia
dengan pengalaman lebih dari 40 tahun, PGE saat ini
mengelola kapasitas terpasang sebesar 672,5 MW dari enam
wilayah operasi. Perusahaan menargetkan peningkatan
kapasitas menjadi 1 GW dalam dua tahun mendatang, dan
mencapai 1,7 GW pada 2034. Selain pengoperasian Lumut
Balai Unit 2, PGE juga tengah mengembangkan sejumlah
proyek strategis seperti PLTP Hululais Unit 1 & 2 (110 MW),
serta beberapa proyek co-generation dengan total kapasitas
230 MW.
PGE juga telah mengidentifikasi potensi sumber daya panas
bumi sebesar 3 GW dari 10 WKP yang dikelola secara
mandiri, mempertegas komitmen perusahaan dalam
mendukung ketahanan dan keberlanjutan energi nasional.

Description of Material Information or President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto
Facts inaugurated the construction and operation of renewable
energy projects spread across 15 provinces in Indonesia on
Thursday. One of the projects inaugurated was the 55
megawatt (MW) Gunung Tiga Geothermal Power Plant (PLTP)
exploration project (green field) owned by PT Pertamina
Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO). The inauguration
was carried out symbolically from Bondowoso, East Java, as
part of the national commitment to accelerate the clean energy
transition. The Gunung Tiga geothermal power plant project is
PGE's strategic step in supporting the achievement of the
national geothermal capacity increase target of up to 5.2
gigawatts (GW) in the 2025-2034 period.
President Prabowo Subianto said that energy availability is a
very important part of a nation's sovereignty. The President
said that Indonesia should be grateful for having extraordinary
energy sources.
Renewable energy sources are available to us, we just need to
manage them well. Today is proof of Indonesia's ability to
achieve energy self-sufficiency, which is very decisive for the
future of the nation, the President said in his remarks.
Accompanying the President, Minister of Energy and Mineral
Resources Bahlil Lahadalia in his remarks said that the
development of New Renewable Energy (EBT) plants also
plays a role in encouraging the growth of local industries with a
domestic content level (TKDN) reaching 40% and absorbing
more than 9,500 workers nationally.
As part of this national agenda, PGE also held a
groundbreaking ceremony for the exploration of the Gunung
Tiga PLTP project in Lampung. The event was attended by
Regional Secretary of Lampung Province Dr. Marindo
Kurniawan S.T., M.M, Representative of the Directorate of
Geothermal Directorate General of EBTKE of the Ministry of
Energy and Mineral Resources Bambang Purbiantoro, Deputy
Regent of Tanggamus Agus Suranto, and Director of
Operations of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk Ahmad
Yani.
The presence of PLTP Gunung Tiga is very strategic for PGE.

Julfi Hadi said that the Gunung Tiga geothermal plant is one of
the geothermal prospects in the Mount Waypanas Geothermal
Working Area (WKP), along with the Ulubelu project. This
exploration is aimed at confirming the potential of geothermal
energy reserves which are expected to become a source of
indigenous energy to strengthen energy security and support
the achievement of the national renewable energy mix target.
As a first step, infrastructure development began in April 2025.
With our huge potential, we believe PGE will continue to
contribute significantly in building a sustainable green energy
ecosystem, he said.
Julfi further explained that Gunung Tiga, located to the south
of the existing Ulubelu area, has promising geothermal
characteristics and is very strategic for the development of
geothermal plants. He added that the main advantage of
geothermal lies in its reliable and stable nature because it
does not depend on weather conditions such as sunlight or

wind.
Exploration is conducted in stages through three wells,
applying strict safety standards, environmental protection, and
comprehensive risk management. All activities have gone
through an Environmental Impact Assessment (AMDAL) study,
and each stage will be closely monitored to minimize the
impact on the surrounding ecosystem, Julfi explained.
As a pioneer of geothermal energy development in Indonesia
with more than 40 years of experience, PGE currently
manages an installed capacity of 672.5 MW from six operating
areas. The company targets to increase its capacity to 1 GW in
the next two years, and reach 1.7 GW by 2034. In addition to
the operation of Lumut Balai Unit 2, PGE is also developing a
number of strategic projects such as the Hululais PLTP Units 1
& 2 (110 MW), as well as several co-generation projects with a
total capacity of 230 MW.
PGE has also identified potential geothermal resources of 3
GW from 10 WKPs that are managed independently,
emphasizing the company's commitment in supporting national
energy security and sustainability.
