PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) confirms that the Unaudited Financials for Q1-25 have been posted on
IDX web on 30 Apr 2025.
BUMI submits its financials based on PSAK 111 on Joint Venture Accounting which consolidates
Arutmin, but its major coal subsidiary, Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) is equity accounted and is not
consolidated.
Attached are the following 3 Appendices for information:
a) Q1 2025 – Operating Metrics on 100% KPC & Arutmin basis (YOY) (Appendix 1).
b) Q1 2025 – Consolidated Income Statement (YOY). This includes KPC and Arutmin – for benefit of
investors (Appendix 2).
c) Q1 2025 – Audited Income Statement on PSAK 111 basis (consolidates Arutmin but KPC is equity
accounted) (YOY) (Appendix 3).
Operating Metrics Q1 2025 – on 100% Basis for KPC & Arutmin – Key Highlights
• Coal Sales of 16.7MT decreased by 9% vs 18.4MT in Q1 2024
• Coal Mined of 17.2MT decreased by 12% vs 19.5MT in Q1 2024
• Overburden Removed of 143.4 mbcm decreased by 20% vs 178.4 mbcm in Q1 2024
• Closing Inventory 2.4MT decreased by 29% vs 3.3MT in Q1 2024.
The average realized coal price of USD64.9/ton sharply declined by 14% vs USD75.8/ ton in Q1 2024
and lowered revenue by 18.3%. Strip ratio fell by 8% reflecting an efficiency.

• Gross Revenue of USD1.17 billion in Q1 2025 compares with USD1.44 billion in Q1 2024 - a sharp
drop of 18.3% - mainly due to lower global coal prices and lower stripping ratio.
• BUMI as the largest domestic supplier of coal for power, cement, and fertilizer sector at controlled
prices additionally lowers revenue and margins.
• Operating expenses increased by 8.0% to USD51.9 million in Q1 2025 vs USD48.1 million in Q1
2024.
