PRESS RELEASE
PT DHARMA SATYA NUSANTARA Tbk

Higher CPO Prices Drove DSNG’s Growth in Q1 2025

Jakarta, 29 April 2025 — PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (“the Company” or “DSNG”) recorded
a net profit of IDR 367 billion in the first quarter of 2025, representing a 60% year-on-year (YoY)
increase. This growth was supported by a 20% YoY rise in revenue of IDR 448 billion, bringing
total revenue to IDR 2.7 trillion. The palm oil segment remained the main revenue contributor,
accounting for 88% of total revenue.

Throughout Q1 2025, average selling prices (ASP) of palm oil products were increasing. The ASP
for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) rose 27% to IDR 14,909/kg, Palm Kernel Oil (PKO) surged 108% to IDR
27,349/kg, and Palm Kernel (PK) increased 101% to IDR 10,814/kg. As a result, the Company
posted EBITDA of IDR 861 billion in Q1-2025.

“The dry weather conditions during the first quarter of 2024 in East Kalimantan as our largest
operational area as well as in other regions of Indonesia, led to a decrease in Fresh Fruit Bunch
(FFB) production. Consequently, supplies of CPO, PKO, and PK also declined, resulting in higher
selling prices based on supply and demand dynamics. In addition, well-managed production costs
had a positive impact on profitability,” said Andrianto Oetomo, President Director of PT Dharma
Satya Nusantara Tbk.

Operational wise, CPO production recorded a decline of 8% YoY, from 149.5 thousand tons to
137.6 thousand tons, aligned with a decrease in FFB supply by 8.7% YoY, from 525 thousand tons
to 479 thousand tons. The lower FFB volume also resulted in a decline in PK and PKO production
by 8.1% and 17.2% YoY, respectively. This decline in FFB and palm product output was primarily
attributable to insufficient rainfall over the past 10–12 months. In addition, the Company’s
replanting program, which has involved the clearing of more than 3,000 hectares of oil palm trees
as of the first quarter of 2025, also contributed to the reduction in FFB production.

Meanwhile, the wood products segment delivered positive performance in Q1-2025. Revenue
from panel products increased 6.3% YoY to IDR 171.7 billion, while revenue from engineered
flooring rose 13.5% YoY to IDR 76.3 billion. This growth was supported not only by an increase in

panel sales volume by 4.2% and engineered flooring by 2.8%, but also by a rise in the ASP of
engineered flooring products by 10.9%, reaching USD 32.07/m³.

The growth in the wood products segment was also supported by the Company's ability to
capture market opportunities left open during the recent global economic downturn and by its
innovations to enter non-traditional markets.

In the renewable energy segment, the Company completed its first export of 10.5 thousand tons
of wood pellets to Japan, reflecting its commitment to implementing a circular economy through
the utilization of solid waste. The wood pellet production facility is currently in its final stages and
is expected to be fully operational by the end of the year. Meanwhile, palm kernel shell exports
declined in Q1 2025 due to a shift in export shipments from the first quarter to the next quarter,
driven by fluctuating demand from power generation facilities in Japan.

Overall, the Company’s total assets grew by 1.3% YoY to IDR 17.6 trillion, compared to IDR 17.4
trillion in the previous year. Liabilities decreased by approximately 2% YoY, in line with lower debt
levels, resulting in an increase in equity to IDR 10.3 trillion, or 3.7% higher YoY, reflecting healthy
asset growth and a solid financial position. This financial strength was acknowledged by Pefindo,
which upgraded DSNG’s bond rating from idA to idA+ in early March 2025.

DSNG’s strong performance has also been recognized through various awards, including the Best
Stock Award from Investortrust and the Fortune Indonesia Change the World Award for its
contributions to addressing global climate change challenges. Furthermore, DSNG is listed as a
constituent of several indices on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), including IDX80, BISNIS-27,
KOMPAS100, PEFINDO I-GRADE, SRI-KEHATI, ESGS KEHATI, ESGQ KEHATI, IDXVESTA-28,
