BUMI Group Wins Awards from Ministry of Finance

PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), through its business units, PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) and
PT Arutmin Indonesia (Arutmin), succeeded in winning several awards from the Directorate
General of State Assets (DJKN) Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu). In this event, KPC won two
awards from two categories: First Best for Coal Contractor with Largest State Revenue
Contribution 2024 category and Third Best for Coal Contractor with Most Active Asset
Management Level 2024 category. Arutmin ranked second in the Most Active Asset
Management Level 2024 category. The award ceremony was held at the DJKN Building,
Ministry of Finance, on Friday (21/3).
The awards were given for the contractors' synergy and contribution in managing state assets
with strategic value for national development.
"The upstream oil, gas, and coal mining industries have a vital role in the Indonesian economy,
both through state revenues, domestic gas allocation, and investment in the exploration and
exploitation sector," explained Director of State Asset Management, Purnama T. Sianturi.
This award demonstrates that KPC and Arutmin are focused on increasing coal production and
have been actively managing the Country's assets well. In addition, through this award, KPC has
also proven itself as a coal company with the largest contribution to state revenue in 2024.
