Uraian Informasi atau Fakta Material Melanjutkan kinerja unggulnya dalam pengelolaan dampak
lingkungan dan sosial, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk
(PGE) (IDX: PGEO) kembali meraih penghargaan PROPER
Emas untuk dua wilayah operasinya, yaitu Area Kamojang dan
Ulubelu. Penghargaan ini diberikan sebagai pengakuan atas
kinerja lingkungan yang melampaui kepatuhan dan kontribusi
terhadap kesejahteraan sosial secara berkelanjutan.
Penghargaan PROPER Emas ini merupakan yang ke-14 kali
berturut-turut bagi Kamojang dan yang ke-3 bagi Ulubelu.
Direktur Utama PGE, Julfi Hadi, menyampaikan Penghargaan
PROPER Emas ini merupakan bukti nyata dari upaya
perusahaan dalam menerapkan prinsip keberlanjutan di
seluruh operasi perusahaan. Melalui inovasi dan
pemberdayaan masyarakat, kami ingin memastikan bahwa
operasi kami tidak hanya menghasilkan energi bersih, tetapi
juga memberikan manfaat nyata bagi lingkungan dan
masyarakat sekitar, ujarnya.
Sebagai salah satu area operasi utama PGE, Area Kamojang
telah beroperasi sejak 1983 dengan total kapasitas terpasang
235 MW atau mampu menerangi sekitar 260.000 rumah.
Keberhasilan dalam mempertahankan PROPER Emas tidak
terlepas dari berbagai inovasi yang diterapkan Area Kamojang
di area operasinya, yaitu program GEMAH KARSA
(Geothermal Empowerment for Maximizing Agriculture through
Kamojang Responsible and Sustainable Farming). Program ini
dijalankan melalui tiga pilar yang saling berkaitan yaitu
pemupukan, pembibitan, dan pengairan untuk mengatasi
kendala akses pupuk ke petani melalui pengelolaan limbah
rumah tangga menjadi pupuk organik, proses pembibitan yang
terkendala ketidakpastian cuaca dan hama, hingga
kekurangan akses air bersih untuk kebutuhan masyarakat dan
pertanian.
Program GEMAH KARSA bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan
energi panas bumi bagi sektor pertanian secara bertanggung
jawab dan berkelanjutan, membantu para petani untuk
memanfaatkan sumber daya panas bumi secara efisien untuk
meningkatkan hasil pertanian mereka. Sampai saat ini, 2.647
penerima manfaat dari berbagai kelompok rentan termasuk
petani, lansia, dan ibu rumah tangga telah merasakan manfaat
nyata dari program ini seperti akses air bersih, akses kerja,
akses fasilitas kesehatan, dan dukungan untuk pertanian
organik.
Sedangkan, bagi Area Ulubelu dengan kapasitas terpasang
220 MW yang menyuplai sekitar 25% kebutuhan listrik di
Provinsi Lampung, penghargaan PROPER Emas diraih berkat
serangkaian program keberlanjutan yang berdampak luas.
Program unggulan ELOC BESTARI (Empowering Local
Communities-based Environmental Stewardship Through
Social Forestry) yang dijalankan di area operasi Ulubelu
merupakan upaya rehabilitasi hutan yang melibatkan
masyarakat lokal dalam pengelolaan hutan sosial secara
berkelanjutan, mengurangi ketergantungan ekonomi pada
aktivitas yang berisiko merusak lingkungan seperti
perambahan hutan, serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan
masyarakat melalui budidaya sumber daya hutan seperti kopi
dan madu.
Program ELOC BESTARI berfokus pada pendiversifikasian
sumber pendapatan masyarakat untuk mendukung

pengelolaan hutan berkelanjutan melalui pemanfaatan
langsung panas bumi (direct-use geothermal). Salah satu
inovasi program ini adalah Melon Geothermal, sebuah
gagasan kreatif yang dirancang untuk memanfaatkan potensi
panas bumi, didukung dengan alih pengetahuan sesuai
dengan kompetensi inti perusahaan. Program ini telah
memberikan manfaat kepada 1.362 penerima langsung, yang
terdiri dari 112 buruh tani hutan, 787 petani kopi yang
mengalami pengangguran sementara, 81 pemuda
pengangguran, 348 lansia, 23 perempuan dalam kelompok
rentan, dan 11 keluarga prasejahtera.
Tak hanya Kamojang dan Ulubelu, dua wilayah operasi PGE
lainnya, Lahendong dan Karaha, juga berhasil memperoleh
penghargaan PROPER untuk kategori Hijau. Prestasi ini
mencerminkan upaya PGE dalam menjaga kelestarian
lingkungan melalui berbagai program inovatif di seluruh
wilayah operasi perusahaan.
Keberhasilan PGE dalam meraih PROPER Emas dan Hijau ini
semakin memperkuat posisinya sebagai pemimpin dalam
industri panas bumi dan perusahaan energi hijau kelas dunia.
Ke depan, PGE akan terus mengembangkan inovasi
keberlanjutan dan meningkatkan kemitraan strategis dalam
upaya mencapai visi sebagai pemimpin industri energi bersih
kelas dunia.

Description of Material Information or Continuing its excellent performance in environmental and
Facts social impact management, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy
Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO) once again received the Gold
PROPER award for two of its operating areas, namely
Kamojang and Ulubelu Areas. This award recognizes
environmental performance that goes beyond compliance and
contributes to social welfare in a sustainable manner. This is
the 14th consecutive Gold PROPER award for Kamojang and
the 3rd for Ulubelu.
PGE President Director, Julfi Hadi, said that the Gold
PROPER Award is tangible evidence of the company's efforts
in implementing sustainability principles throughout the
company's operations. Through innovation and community
empowerment, we want to ensure that our operations not only
produce clean energy, but also provide tangible benefits to the
environment and surrounding communities, he said.
As one of PGE's main operating areas, Kamojang Area has
been in operation since 1983 with a total installed capacity of
235 MW or able to illuminate around 260,000 homes. The
success in maintaining the Gold PROPER is inseparable from
the various innovations implemented by the Kamojang Area in
its operating area, namely the GEMAH KARSA (Geothermal
Empowerment for Maximizing Agriculture through Kamojang
Responsible and Sustainable Farming) program. This program
is run through three interrelated pillars, namely fertilization,
nursery, and irrigation to overcome the constraints of fertilizer
access to farmers through the management of household
waste into organic fertilizer, the nursery process which is
constrained by weather uncertainty and pests, to the lack of
access to clean water for community and agricultural needs.
The GEMAH KARSA program aims to optimize geothermal
energy for the agricultural sector in a responsible and
sustainable manner, helping farmers to utilize geothermal
resources efficiently to increase their agricultural yields. To
date, 2,647 beneficiaries from various vulnerable groups
including farmers, elderly, and housewives have experienced
tangible benefits from this program such as access to clean
water, access to work, access to health facilities, and support
for organic farming.
Meanwhile, for the Ulubelu Area with an installed capacity of
220 MW which supplies around 25% of the electricity needs in
Lampung Province, the Gold PROPER award was achieved
thanks to a series of sustainability programs that have a wide
impact. The flagship ELOC BESTARI (Empowering Local
Communities-based Environmental Stewardship Through
Social Forestry) program run in the Ulubelu operating area is a
forest rehabilitation effort that involves local communities in
sustainable social forest management, reduces economic
dependence on activities that risk damaging the environment
such as forest encroachment, and improves community
welfare through the cultivation of forest resources such as
coffee and honey.
The ELOC BESTARI program focuses on diversifying
community income sources to support sustainable forest
management through direct-use geothermal. One of the
program's innovations is Melon Geothermal, a creative idea
designed to utilize geothermal potential, supported by
knowledge transfer in accordance with the company's core

competencies. The program has benefited 1,362 direct
beneficiaries, consisting of 112 forest farm laborers, 787 coffee
farmers experiencing temporary unemployment, 81
unemployed youth, 348 elderly, 23 women in vulnerable
groups, and 11 underprivileged families.
Not only Kamojang and Ulubelu, but two other PGE operating
areas, Lahendong and Karaha, also received PROPER
awards for the Green category. This achievement reflects
PGE's efforts in preserving the environment through various
innovative programs throughout the company's operating
areas.
PGE's success in achieving Gold and Green PROPER further
strengthens its position as a leader in the geothermal industry
and a world-class green energy company. Going forward, PGE
will continue to develop sustainability innovations and enhance
strategic partnerships in an effort to achieve its vision as a
world-class clean energy industry leader.
