PGN and Aerotrans Expand CNG for Eco-Friendly Transportation
Jakarta – PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN) (PGN) strengthens commitment to
driving the energy transition in the transportation sector by partnering with PT
Aerotrans Services Indonesia. This collaboration will provide gas fuel (BBG) solutions
for Aerotrans' operational vehicles, aiming to enhance efficiency while reducing carbon
emissions.
Through this collaboration, PGN will provide supporting infrastructure, including
strategically located Gas Fueling Stations (SPBG) to ensure easier access for
Aerotrans vehicles. In addition, PGN will implement conversion technology that allows
fuel-based vehicles to switch to gas-based vehicles safely and efficiently.

ecosystem at Aerotrans." We are ready to provide beneficial solutions related to the
utilization of CNG, in line with PGN's strategy to expand the use of natural gas in the
transportation sector," said PGN's Director of Strategy and Business Development,
Rosa Permata Sari (February 5, 2025).
The Director of PT Aerotrans Services Indonesia, Kadek Bayu Temaja, welcomed this
collaboration as a concrete step in providing more environmentally friendly energy
solutions in the transportation sector.
"We manage more than 800 vehicles spread across Jakarta and several other areas."
Collaboration with PGN has the potential to jointly develop the use of natural gas as a
greener vehicle fuel," he explained.
PGN believes that the collaboration is not only for converting vehicles to CNG, but
also opens up opportunities for utilizing natural gas for broader energy needs. In the
future, both companies will explore the development of integrated energy
infrastructure, such as gas power plants (PLTG), charging stations for electric
vehicles, and CNG distribution facilities to support Aerotrans's energy needs in the
future.
