BUMI Receives RUBY Award at Indeks Integritas Bisnis Lestari 2024

PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) receives RUBY Award at Indeks Integritas Bisnis Lestari (IIBL) 2024.
This event was held by Tempo Data Science in collaboration with Transparency International Indonesia
(TII) at Jakarta (10/12). TII and TEMPO assessed various important aspects, which are business aspects
with anti-corruption integrity, business and human rights aspects, as well as environmental aspects. Points
from these three aspects will be the basis for determining the company's total index.
The assessment was carried out to 100 companies with the largest assets, equity, liabilities, revenues, and
profits in Indonesia. The assessment process is carried out based on compliance data contained in annual
reports, sustainability reports, codes of ethics, and other public documents published by each company.
Each document is evaluated to measure the company’s consistency on implementing the principles of
transparency and sustainability.
After going through a strict assessment process, BUMI succeeded in proving its role in all three aspects of
the assessment with excellent scores, making BUMI one of the best companies in this index.
BUMI achieved the highest DIAMOND ranking with an index score of 85.71 for environmental aspects.
This shows the concern of BUMI and its business units in taking concrete steps to maintain ecosystem
sustainability, including water management, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and energy efficiency.
In the business and human rights aspects, BUMI received an index score of 83.33 with a RUBY ranking.
RUBY ranking in this category shows that BUMI seriously respects and protects human rights, both for
stakeholders, workers, and the community in general.
Furthermore, BUMI's dedication in integrating anti-corruption policies into its governance resulted in
RUBY ranking with an index score of 78.13 for business aspects with anti-corruption integrity in the IIBL
2024. Through this policy, BUMI proactively prevents corrupt practices with various program detection
and evaluation mechanisms, as well as ensuring every activity remains in line with the high principles of
business integrity.

Overall, BUMI achieved a RUBY score with a total index score of 81.58 from all three assessment aspects.
This proves that the Company is holistically trying to maintain a balance between business profits, respect
for human rights, and environmental preservation. This achievement proves that BUMI is able to maintain
its integrity in every line of its business.

aspects of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) as stated in Law no. 40 of 2007 concerning
