BUMI Receives Best Sustainability Report Award For the Fifth Time

Jakarta, 23rd December 2024

PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) won the Best Sustainability Report 2023 award with A+ title.
The award was given by the Foundation for International Human Rights Reporting Standards
(FIHRRST) and Moores Rowland Indonesia and supported by the Indonesian Stock Exchange
(BEI) and the Belgian Embassy in Indonesia. This award was announced in the commemoration
of International Human Rights Day on December 10th, 2024. This year is the fifth year that BUMI
has received the best sustainability report award. This shows BUMI's commitment to transparency
of the company's sustainability performance.

The assessment in this award is based on strategy, commitment, performance, and governance
sustainability. Apart from that, assessments are also carried out on human rights performance,
contribution to SDGs, as well as third party verification of published reports. This achievement
confirms BUMI's commitment as the largest coal company in Indonesia which is consistent in
prioritizing transparency and implementing sustainability principles.

One of the best practices carried out by BUMI in 2023 is the implementation of the Second Year
of Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD). This due diligence aims to evaluate initiatives that have
been implemented in the previous year and identify issues or areas that need to be further refined
and improved. The results of HRDD show that BUMI and its business units have achieved more
than 80% of leading practice in international human rights criteria.

In addition, BUMI has planned a number of initiatives to improve the quality and credibility of the
2024 Sustainability Report. These steps include emissions calculations of GHG Scope 1, 2, and 3
which will be carried out by independent parties, alignment TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related
Financial Disclosures) for disclosure of risks and opportunities related to climate change, and
efforts to align with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), as well as implementation

of the Third Year Human Rights Due Diligence to ensure continuous improvement in the
implementation of human rights.

With these, BUMI continues to strengthen transparency, accountability, and governance
sustainability implemented in all company operational lines. This achievement is clear evidence
of BUMI's commitment to making a positive contribution to sustainable economic, environment,
and social development.
