BUMI Group Receives Pelabuhan Sehat Award 2024

PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), through its business units, PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) and PT
Arutmin Indonesia (Arutmin), receives Pelabuhan Sehat Award 2024 in Penganugerahan
Penghargaan Sanitasi Total Berbasis Masyarakat (STBM Award), Penghargaan Pelabuhan dan
Bandar Udara Sehat (PBUS), serta Program Keamanan Pangan Olahan Siap Saji (POSS) 2024
event. The event was organized by Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia (Kemenkes) in
The St. Regis Hotel, Jakarta, on Tuesday (10/12).
In this event, KPC wins an award for Terminal Khusus PT Kaltim Prima Coal and Arutmin wins
an award for Terminal Khusus Arutmin NPLCT Kotabaru. These awards handed over directly by
the Republic of Indonesia’s Deputy Minister of Health, Prof. Dr. Dante Saksono Harbuwono,
Sp.PDKEMD, Ph.D. This award is a form of appreciation for port and airport managers in
Indonesia who have implemented healthy port and airport operations in accordance with the
mandate of Ministerial Regulation No. 44 of 2014 concerning the Implementation of Healthy Ports
and Airports.
There are six indicators that determine whether a port or airport has succeeded in becoming a
healthy port and airport. These indicators are the implementation of environmental health, the
arrangement of facilities and equipment, the improvement of clean and healthy behavior, the
enhancement of occupational safety and health, the improvement of security and order, and the
reinforcement of formal institutions.
With this achievement, BUMI, through KPC and Arutmin, shows the Company’s commitment in
creating a healthy, safe, and comfortable environment for its workers as well as the local
community around its operational area.
