Uraian Informasi atau Fakta Material Dalam langkah strategis menuju transisi energi dan
pencapaian target Net Zero Emission (NZE) Indonesia,
Pertamina New & Renewable Energy (Pertamina NRE)
bersama anak perusahaannya, PT Pertamina Geothermal
Energy Tbk (PGE) menandatangani Amandemen Perjanjian
Perdagangan Kredit Karbon (PPKK). Penandatanganan ini
dilakukan oleh CEO Pertamina NRE, John Anis, Direktur
Utama PGE, Julfi Hadi , dan disaksikan Direktur Utama PT
Pertamina (Persero) Simon Aloysius Mantiri.
Kolaborasi ini melanjutkan kontribusi Pertamina NRE dalam
mengelola kredit karbon yang berasal dari proyek geothermal
Lahendong Unit 5&6 yang berada di Lapangan Panas Bumi
Tompaso, Provinsi Sulawesi Utara, Indonesia.
Sejak peluncuran IDXCarbon pada 26 September 2023 hingga
saat ini, Pertamina NRE telah mencatatkan penjualan sebesar
862 ribu ton CO2e kredit karbon dari Lahendong Unit 5 & 6
untuk volume 1 dan 2. Penjualan tersebut mencapai 96% dari
pangsa pasar kredit karbon di Indonesia dan dengan demikian
memperkuat peran PNRE sebagai aggregator pasar karbon di
Pertamina Grup. Melalui perjanjian tersebut PNRE penjualan
kredit karbon sebesar 390 ribu ton CO2e untuk volume 3.
Dalam sambutannya, Simon menyampaikan apresiasinya
terhadap inovasi yang dilakukan untuk mendukung Net Zero
Emission. Indonesia memiliki karunia luar biasa dari Tuhan
berupa potensi energi hijau yang melimpah, mulai dari
matahari sepanjang tahun, hutan luas, hingga geothermal dan
hydrogen. Saya sangat mengapresiasi kerja keras ini yang
tentunya akan sangat bermanfaat dalam mendukung
pemerintah untuk terus mendorong sektor energi kita maju ke
transisi energi hijau. Dan tentunya suatu saat kita akan
swasembada energi ungkap Simon.
Sejak ditunjuk sebagai agregator karbon Pertamina pada
2022, Pertamina NRE telah aktif memimpin pasar karbon
dengan menguasai 95% market share di IDXCarbon dan
menjual hampir seluruh volume yang tersedia, ujar John Anis.
John juga menyampaikan bahwa Pertamina NRE tidak hanya
fokus pada geothermal, tetapi juga akan memperluas
portofolio bisnis karbon melalui proyek biogas, gas to power,
dan solusi berbasis alam (nature-based solutions) di masa
depan. Tidak saja untuk kegiatan bisnis, ahkan untuk hal-hal
yang kecil, seperti event-event atau seminar kami juga meng-
offset emisi karbonnya sehingga dapat disebut carbon neutral
event, tambah John.
Sementara itu, Direktur Utama PGE, Julfi Hadi, menegaskan
bahwa dengan rekam jejak yang solid sejak 2011 dalam
pengelolaan kredit karbon, PGE terus memperkuat kolaborasi
strategis bersama Pertamina NRE untuk mengoptimalkan
potensi produk turunan geothermal sebagai bagian dari new
revenue stream perusahaan.
Penandatanganan amandemen perjanjian ini merupakan
tonggak penting dalam meningkatkan komersialisasi proyek
geothermal kami, sekaligus memperkuat nilai strategis
perusahaan dan daya tarik bagi investor, ujar Julfi Hadi.

Description of Material Information or In a strategic step towards energy transition and achieving
Facts Indonesia's Net Zero Emission (NZE) target, Pertamina New &
Renewable Energy (Pertamina NRE) and its subsidiary, PT
Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) signed an
Amendment to the Carbon Credit Trading Agreement (CTCA).
The signing was conducted by Pertamina NRE CEO John
Anis, PGE President Director Julfi Hadi, and witnessed by PT
Pertamina (Persero) President Director Simon Aloysius
Mantiri.
This collaboration continues Pertamina NRE's contribution in
managing carbon credits derived from the Lahendong Unit 5&6
geothermal project located in the Tompaso Geothermal Field,
North Sulawesi Province, Indonesia.
Since the launch of IDXCarbon on 26 September 2023 to date,
Pertamina NRE has recorded sales of 862 thousand tons
CO2e of carbon credits from Lahendong Units 5 & 6 for
volumes 1 and 2. These sales account for 96% of the carbon
credit market share in Indonesia and thus strengthen PNRE's
role as the carbon market aggregator in Pertamina Group.
Through the agreement, PNRE sold 390 thousand tons of
CO2e carbon credits for volume 3.
In his speech, Simon expressed his appreciation for the
innovations made to support Net Zero Emission. Indonesia has
an extraordinary gift from God in the form of abundant green
energy potential, ranging from year-round sun, vast forests, to
geothermal and hydrogen. I really appreciate this hard work
which will certainly be very useful in supporting the
government to continue to push our energy sector forward to
the green energy transition. And of course one day we will be
energy self-sufficient, said Simon.
Since being appointed as Pertamina's carbon aggregator in
2022, Pertamina NRE has been actively leading the carbon
market by controlling 95% market share on IDXCarbon and
selling almost all available volume, said John Anis.
John also said that Pertamina NRE not only focuses on
geothermal, but will also expand its carbon business portfolio
through biogas, gas to power, and nature-based solutions
projects in the future. Not only for business activities, even for
small things, such as events or seminars we also offset carbon
emissions so that it can be called a carbon neutral event, John
added.
Meanwhile, PGE President Director Julfi Hadi emphasized that
with a solid track record since 2011 in carbon credit
management, PGE continues to strengthen its strategic
collaboration with Pertamina NRE to optimize the potential of
geothermal derivative products as part of the company's new
revenue stream.
The signing of this agreement amendment is an important
milestone in enhancing the commercialization of our
geothermal projects, while strengthening the company's
strategic value and attractiveness to investors, Julfi Hadi said.
