Uraian Informasi atau Fakta Material PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) menyatakan
kesiapan melaksanakan pengeboran panas bumi di Wilayah
Kerja Panas Bumi (WKP) Seulawah Agam, Aceh Besar
bersama PT Pembangunan Aceh (PEMA). Langkah strategis
ini diharapkan bisa menjadi pembuka jalan bagi berdirinya
pembangkit listrik panas bumi pertama di Aceh.
WKP Seulawah Agam memiliki potensi energi panas bumi
hingga 320 MW berdasarkan survei geosains awal. PGE,
bersama PT Pembangunan Aceh (PEMA), telah
menyelesaikan berbagai tahapan awal untuk pengembangan
proyek, termasuk survei geosains pada 2017-2019, pemetaan
geohazard pada 2020-2021, serta pembaruan model
konseptual pada 2022-2024. Hal ini menjadi dasar teknis yang
kuat untuk melanjutkan ke tahap pengeboran eksplorasi di tiga
lokasi.
Direktur Eksplorasi dan Pengembangan PGE Edwil Suzandi
menyampaikan, PGE berkomitmen untuk memastikan
keberhasilan proyek Seulawah Agam. Kami percaya proyek ini
tidak hanya akan memberikan manfaat dari sisi energi, tetapi
juga menciptakan dampak positif bagi masyarakat sekitar
melalui peluang kerja dan peningkatan ekonomi lokal.
Saat ini, proyek berada dalam tahap persiapan akuisisi lahan.
Pengeboran direncanakan akan dimulai pada tahun 2025.
Lokasi pengeboran di sekitar Gunung Seulawah Agam
dirancang dapat diakses melalui jalur jalan untuk mendukung
kelancaran logistik dan operasional.
Direktur Utama PGE Julfi Hadi menyatakan, Kami sangat
antusias untuk mengembangkan potensi panas bumi di Aceh,
salah satu provinsi yang memiliki potensi energi panas bumi
yang cukup besar, tetapi belum dimanfaatkan. Kami berharap
PGE bisa membangun pembangkit listrik panas bumi pertama
untuk Aceh di Seulawah Agam ini, sebagai bagian dari upaya
mendukung pengembangan energi hijau di Tanah Air.
Proyek panas bumi Seulawah Agam menjadi salah satu
proyek prioritas PGE dalam mendukung kebijakan pemerintah
untuk memanfaatkan energi terbarukan. Selain itu, proyek ini
selaras dengan misi PGE untuk berkontribusi pada
pencapaian target net zero emission sekaligus mendorong
swasembada energi nasional.
Kami sangat menghargai dukungan penuh dari Pemerintah
Aceh dan berbagai pihak terkait. Sinergi antar-lembaga dan
dukungan masyarakat sangat penting untuk memastikan
keberhasilan proyek ini. Kami akan terus bekerja sama
dengan seluruh pemangku kepentingan, termasuk masyarakat
setempat dalam setiap tahap pengembangan proyek ini,
tambah Edwil Suzandi.
Pj Gubernur Safrizal menyampaikan dukungannya terhadap
pengembangan energi ramah lingkungan ini, seraya
mengingatkan pentingnya sinergi antar-lembaga dan
keterlibatan masyarakat sekitar.
Proyek pengembangan panas bumi di Seulawah Agam adalah
bagian penting dari upaya memanfaatkan potensi sumber
daya alam untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan, sebut Safrizal.
Lebih lanjut, Pemerintah Aceh berkomitmen mendukung
langkah-langkah strategi dengan tetap mengedepankan
kepentingan masyarakat dan kelestarian lingkungan.

Description of Material Information or PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) expressed
Facts readiness to carry out geothermal drilling in the Seulawah
Agam Geothermal Working Area (WKP), Aceh Besar together
with PT Pembangunan Aceh (PEMA). This strategic step is
expected to pave the way for the establishment of the first
geothermal power plant in Aceh.
WKP Seulawah Agam has a geothermal energy potential of up
to 320 MW based on an initial geoscience survey. PGE,
together with PT Pembangunan Aceh (PEMA), has completed
various preliminary stages for project development, including
geoscience surveys in 2017-2019, geohazard mapping in
2020-2021, and conceptual model updates in 2022-2024. This
provides a strong technical basis to proceed to exploration
drilling at three locations.
PGE Exploration and Development Director Edwil Suzandi
said that PGE is committed to ensuring the success of the
Seulawah Agam project. We believe this project will not only
provide energy benefits, but also create positive impacts for
the surrounding community through employment opportunities
and local economic improvement.
Currently, the project is in the preparation stage of land
acquisition. Drilling is planned to commence in 2025. The
drilling site around Mount Seulawah Agam is designed to be
accessible by road to support smooth logistics and operations.
PGE President Director Julfi Hadi stated, We are excited to
develop the geothermal potential in Aceh, one of the provinces
that has considerable, but untapped, geothermal energy
potential. We hope that PGE can build the first geothermal
power plant for Aceh in Seulawah Agam, as part of our efforts
to support the development of green energy in the country.
The Seulawah Agam geothermal project is one of PGE's
priority projects in supporting government policies to utilize
renewable energy. In addition, the project is aligned with
PGE's mission to contribute to the achievement of the net zero
emission target while encouraging national energy self-
sufficiency.
We greatly appreciate the full support from the Aceh
Government and various related parties. Inter-agency synergy
and community support are critical to ensure the success of
this project. We will continue to work closely with all
stakeholders, including the local community, at every stage of
the project development, added Edwil Suzandi.
Pj Governor Safrizal expressed his support for the
development of this environmentally friendly energy, while
reminding the importance of inter-agency synergy and the
involvement of the surrounding community.
The geothermal development project in Seulawah Agam is an
important part of efforts to utilize the potential of natural
resources for sustainable development, Safrizal said.
Furthermore, the Aceh Government is committed to supporting
strategic measures while prioritizing the interests of the
community and environmental sustainability.
