BUMI Receives Prestigious ESG Merit in Sustainable Stewardship Award at
Investortrust ESG Awards 2024

PT Bumi Resources Tbk. (BUMI) won The ESG Merit in Sustainable Stewardship Award at the
2024 Investortrust ESG Awards and received by Tofan Wibisono, Head of the BUMI
Sustainability Department in Jakarta (26/11). This award was given by Investortrust.id in
recognition of the company's superior performance in implementing sustainable environmental,
social, and governance (ESG) practices.
The ESG Merit in Sustainable Stewardship Award is given based on a number of comprehensive
assessments, such as disclosure of ESG indicators and BUMI's business development. Apart from
that, awards were also given for the company's commitment to implementing ESG practices by
integrating environmental, social, and good governance aspects. The assessment process is carried
out by judges who are experts in the field of ESG.
Director & Corporate Secretary BUMI, Dileep Srivastava stated, “This award certainly encourages
us in the Company to continue to innovate, both internally at BUMI and in our business units. In
2025, we will launch several initiatives, including alignment of the IFRS framework, Disclosure
Scope 3 Emissions, and the implementation of the third year of human rights due diligence with
independent parties which is expected to make a significant contribution to the company's ESG
performance indicators.”
BUMI's commitment to sustainability can be seen from the various strategic steps it has taken to
reduce carbon emissions. Some of these steps, includes the use of solar panels, utilization of B35
biodiesel fuel, and a series of emission reduction programs in the company's operational areas.

This award reflects BUMI's commitment to implementing ESG practices. In the future, BUMI will
continue to strengthen its contribution to environmental sustainability, social development, and
corporate governance.
