BUMI Receives Two Awards at The 15th IICD Corporate Governance
Conference and Awards 2024

PT Bumi Resources Tbk. (BUMI) receives the Top 50 Big Cap Issuer award and the "Best Rights
and Equitable Treatment of Shareholders" category at The 15th IICD Corporate Governance
Conference and Awards 2024 organized by Indonesian Institute for Corporate Directorship (IICD).
This award was obtained after an assessment was carried out based on the ASEAN CG Scorecard
2023 method objectively and independently towards 200 issuers with the largest and medium
market capitalization in Indonesia. This award was conferred at IICD Awards 2024 main event at
the Pullman Thamrin Hotel, Jakarta, Monday (25/11).
IICD Corporate Governance Conference and Awards is an annual event held by IICD since 2009.
This year, IICD in collaboration with Investor Trust, held The 15th IICD Corporate Governance
Conference and Awards 2024 themed “Taking Indonesia Corporate Governance to the Top
ASEAN Level”. The 2024 IICD Awards were attended by a number of important Indonesian
figures, including Mr. Prof. H. Boediono, B.Sc., M.Ec., Ph.D. (Vice President of the Republic of
Indonesia 2009 – 2014), Mr. Drs. Rudiantara, M.B.A. (Chairman of IICD and 5th Indonesian
Minister of Communication and Digital), and Mrs. Ir. Betty Alisjahbana (Independent
Commissioner of two public companies in Indonesia).
Regarding the award achieved by BUMI, President Director of BUMI, Adika Nuraga Bakrie,
expressed his gratitude and pride for this achievement and said that these awards are recognition
of BUMI business group’s commitment which consistently improves the implementation of good
corporate governance in running its business.
Furthermore, Adika stated that this award was not the final goal, but rather an encouragement for
all Company personnel to continue to strengthen the governance system, improve the quality and
transparency of public disclosure, and implement best corporate governance practices in various
operational aspects in the BUMI business group.

Like other large mining companies in the world, BUMI has taken the initiative to prioritize best
governance practices with sustainable principles in its business strategy and operations. BUMI is
also aware that the world is moving towards a low-carbon economy and therefore, BUMI is making
a lot of efforts to adapt to this energy transition.
