BUMI Subsidiary, Arutmin Wins Prasetya Ahimsa Award from Ministry of
                               ESDM

Jakarta, 29th October 2024

BUMI subsidiary, PT Arutmin Indonesia (Arutmin) succeeded in winning Prasetya Ahimsa award
from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). This prestigious award is given for
good performance in mining safety management during the 2023 period at The Trans Luxury Hotel
Bandung (25/10).

The Prasetya Ahimsa Award was handed over by the Director General of Mineral and Coal, Tri
Winarno to GM Legal & External Affairs of Arutmin, Ezra Sibarani.

Prasetya Ahimsa is used as the name of the award because it has a certain meaning. Prasetya means
‘promise’ while Ahimsa means ‘do no harm’, so philosophically, Prasetya Ahimsa means 'a
promise or full commitment from the company to fulfill legal regulations, create, and implement
mining safety programs in an effort to provide safe operational activities and healthy and safe
workers.'

For information, the Prasetya Ahimsa award is part of the Good Mining Practices (GMP) 2024
Award which was previously held in September 2024.

To receive this award, the Ministry of ESDM sets several criteria. First, the company passed the
initial assessment of mining safety aspects during the GMP Award activities. Second, the company
did not have any occupational safety and health cases that resulted in deaths. Third, the company
was declared compliant in submitting reports on mining safety aspects.

With this achievement, Arutmin shows its commitment to always maintaining and managing work
safety in its operational environment.

“This award is a form of commitment to continue to maintain safety and the main priority in every
activity in our mining environment,” said Ido Hutabarat, CEO of Arutmin.
