Arutmin BUMI Subsidiary, Awards Education Scholarships for 270 Students
                     as Part of Its CSR Program

Jakarta, 25th September 2024

PT Arutmin Indonesia (Arutmin), a subsidiary of PT Bumi Resources Tbk. (BUMI), implementing
the “Kintap Cerdas” scholarship program. Through this program, Arutmin aims to improve the
quality of education and reduce the possibility of children dropping out of school. This program is
aimed at 270 elementary to high school students in 9 villages around the mine.

This scholarship handover activity was carried out at SMPN 2 Kintap and was attended by the
Head of Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Tanah Laut Regency, the Head of Kintap District,
scholarship recipient principal, and representatives of Arutmin Kintap.

Scholarships are given in the form of educational equipment consisting of uniforms, shoes, bags,
and school stationery (ATK) with a total value of IDR 176 million.

The Kintap Cerdas Scholarship Program is a concrete manifestation of PT Arutmin Indonesia's
concern for the future of young generation in Tanah Laut Regency. As part of its corporate social
responsibility, Arutmin is committed to supporting education in the Kintap area.

Lutfi Qolbirokhim (KTT Tambang Kintap) hopes that, “through this program, the young
generation can develop their potential and make a positive contribution to regional development.”

Furthermore, President Director of BUMI, Adika Nuraga Bakrie, conveyed that “BUMI encourage
and support Arutmin in its ongoing efforts to strengthen its CSR program by initiatives such as
these. Through this initiative, Arutmin did one aspect its community development and
empowerment program, which is education.”
