PT Bumi Resources Tbk. (BUMI) and its subsidiary, Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) and Arutmin
Indonesia (Arutmin), earned three awards at Green Economy Awards 2024. The event was held by
detikcom in Jakarta (30/7) in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK).
The awards are:
1. BUMI: Green Economy Award for Environmental Conservation and Community Economic
Resilience Programs.
2. KPC: Green Economy Award for Optimizing Domestic Supply Chains.
3. Arutmin: Green Economy Award on Concern for Water Conservation.
The Green Economy Award involves the detikcom assessment committee which conducts
assessments using qualitative analysis. This award was also given to institutions and corporate
organizations with high concern for the vision of sustainable development based on environmental
concerns, social impacts, and the implementation of good governance.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) and detikcom also organized
Festival LIKE 2, held on 8 – 11 August 2024 at Hall A & B Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).
In this festival, BUMI, KPC, and Arutmin had the opportunity to show company’s efforts in
reclamation and reservation of the environment in their own respective area. Apart from that, various
products from SMEs assisted by Kaltim Prima Coal and Arutmin Indonesia were also exhibited such
as batik cloth (sasirangan, wakaroros, and sacoprint - sasirangan eco-print), fish cracker called
amplang, lemongrass oil, soap, coffee, snacks, including games and souvenirs.

In addition, on Friday (9/8) BUMI had the honor of His Excellency President RI Joko Widodo
(Jokowi) and the Minister of Environment and Forestry, Siti Nurbaya Bakar visit and have small
discussion in BUMI Group’s booth.
BUMI, KPC, and Arutmin also participated in a talkshow at the event with the theme “Reclamation
and Postmining”. This event also invited academician from Bakrie University and practitioners from
Kaltim Prima Coal and Arutmin Indonesia as speakers.
Director of PT Bumi Resources Tbk., Dileep Srivastava, pointed out, “BUMI, together with its
subsidiaries, KPC and Arutmin, is highly committed to mitigating climate change through efforts to
reduce emissions produced by its operations. BUMI's commitment can be seen in its sustainability
report prepared in accordance with national and international standards, and to maintain credibility,
assurance has been given to BUMI's sustainability report by an independent third party.”
