ANTAM RECEIVED TWELVE ENSIA 2024 AWARDS FOR CONSISTENT
IMPLEMENTATION OF ESG

Jakarta, August 2, 2024 - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM, IDX: ANTM, ASX: ATM), member of
PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (Persero) (MIND ID) - The State-Owned Enterprise of Mining Industry,
announced that the Company received 12 (twelve) awards at the 2024 Environmental and Social
Innovation Awards (ENSIA). In the awards held by Sucofindo on July 31, 2024, the Company received
two Platinum, seven Gold, and three Silver awards for various environmental and social innovation
programs.

ANTAM' Director of Operations and Production, Hartono said:

“ANTAM, as a Company that always implements good mining practices, is committed to
consistently optimizing operational performance, particularly in the Environmental, Social
and Governance (ESG) aspects. The ENSIA award received by the Company is form of the
effectiveness of ANTAM's commitment to various environmental and social innovations
carried out across all of the Company's business units in improving ESG practices and
initiatives. We believe that the implementation of ESG will benefit the Company, the
environment and increase the independence of communities around the operational areas.
ANTAM also continues to strive to achieve the best ESG practices in line with the principles of
the International Council on Mining and Metal (ICMM) and the Sustainable Development
Goals (SDGs).”

ANTAM received two Platinum awards through the Biodiversity Protection Program carried out by
Gold Mining Business Unit, namely the Biodiversity Protection program, genetic conservation of
endangered palahlar plants in the Mount Halimun Salak National Park area, and the Biodiversity
protection program where blackwood grows and develops (diospyros celebrica), an endemic plant
of Sulawesi by Kolaka Nickel Mining Business Unit. These two programs have a positive impact on
the protection and development of biodiversity around the Company's operational areas.

Meanwhile, seven Gold awards were achieved through environmental and social innovation by the
Company. Two Gold awards were achieved through environmental innovation carried out by West
Kalimantan Bauxite Mining Business Unit, namely a mine road improvement program using used
tires to increase the supply of washed bauxite ore and a program to apply a gravity system to pond
sediments on the remaining bauxite washing results to reduce the total suspended solid (TSS)
pollutant load.

Kolaka Nickel Mining Business Unit obtained three Gold awards through the 3R environmental
innovation program for non-hazardous solid waste, emission reduction, and water efficiency. These
three programs help the Company, especially in the Kolaka Nickel Mining Business Unit operational
area, to improve good environmental management by reducing the waste produced. ANTAM
