3UMN xx, (9 antam S PRESS RELEASE PT ANTAM Tbk For immediate release ANTAM President Director Received Indonesia's Top Green Leaders Award 2024 Jakarta, August 1, 2024 — PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM: IDX: ANTM: ASX: ATM), a member of PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (Persero) (MIND ID) - the State-Owned Enterprise of the Mining Industry, announced that the Company received the Indonesia's Top Green Leaders Award 2024. At the award held on July 30, 2024, ANTAM's President Director was selected as the Indonesia Green Leader for Green Orientation in Prioritizing Environmentally Friendly Operational Activities through Decarbonization Initiatives in the Energy and Mining category. ANTAM President Director, Nico Kanter said: “As a Company prioritizes sustainability, ANTAM consistently applies the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles. This is also an effort to support the achievement of the Net Zero Emission target by 2060. The Company is implementing various initiatives to improve the guality of environmental management through decarbonization programs to reduce the effects of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) generated from the operational activities. The Company believes in the importance of the role of leaders in implementing ESG commitments. Therefore, We always ensure the involvement of all parties in the Company to achieve sustainability. We sincerely appreciate the recognition given by Warta Ekonomi. This will be an encouragement for the Company to continue to provide the best contribution to all stakeholders.” ANTAM has implemented several decarbonization initiatives, such as underground mining method modification and the installation of emission control system at the ferronickel plant, B30 and B35 fuels usage for mining operational vehicles, and solar panels usage for mine road lighting in several business units. The Company has also replaced fuel in nickel ore processing activities from Marine Fuel Oil to the Electricity network. These initiatives have the potential to reduce GHG emissions in the ferronickel production process. ANTAM continues to innovate to make other efforts to improve the guality of environmental management around the Company's operational areas.
