Kinerja Operasional Pulih dan Program Efisiensi terus Berjalan, PTBA Bukukan Laba
Bersih Rp2,65 Triliun di Semester I 2026
Jakarta, 01 September 2026 – PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk (PTBA) mengumumkan kinerja
keuangan konsolidasian untuk periode enam bulan pertama yang berakhir pada tanggal
30 Juni 2026 (1H26) ke BEI/OJK.
Direktur Utama PTBA, Bapak Bambang Ismawan mengatakan:
“Memasuki periode dengan kondisi operasional yang lebih kondusif, Perseroan berhasil
mendorong pemulihan kinerja produksi sekaligus memperkuat kinerja penjualan ekspor,
baik secara kuartalan maupun tahunan. Di tengah momentum penguatan harga batubara
global, Perseroan mampu mengoptimalkan peluang pasar melalui strategi penjualan yang
adaptif, yang didukung oleh pelaksanaan program efisiensi secara cermat dan tepat
sasaran. Capaian tersebut mencerminkan kemampuan Perseroan dalam menangkap
momentum pasar secara optimal, dengan tetap menjaga disiplin operasional dan efisiensi
biaya sebagai fondasi pertumbuhan kinerja yang berkelanjutan.”
Ikhtisar
PTBA membukukan laba bersih sebesar Rp2,65 Triliun dan EBITDA sebesar Rp4,27
Triliun, dengan net profit margin dan EBITDA margin berturut-turut di angka 12%
dan 19%.
PTBA mencatatkan pemulihan kinerja operasional pada kuartal II-2026, yang
ditandai oleh peningkatan kinerja secara QoQ, baik dari sisi produksi (naik 94%)
maupun penjualan (naik 8%). Selain itu, harga jual rata-rata (ASP) juga naik 14%
secara QoQ dan 10% secara YoY.
Terkait dengan ketercapaian capital expenditure, sampai dengan Semester I-2026
sudah terealisasi sebesar 30% dari target tahunan atau sebesar Rp1,09 Triliun.

ANALISIS KINERJA KEUANGAN UNTUK 1H2026 LAPORAN LABA RUGI KONSOLIDASIAN Pendapatan Usaha, Harga Jual Rata-rata PTBA membukukan pendapatan sebesar Rp22,03 triliun sampai dengan akhir Juni 2026, atau naik sebesar 8% secara YoY. Meskipun volume penjualan turun 2% YoY, namun Newcastle Index naik 25% YoY dan ICI-3 naik 15% YoY, yang turut mendorong penguatan harga jual rata-rata yang tercatat naik 10% YoY. Adapun untuk porsi penjualan sampai dengan akhir Juni 2026 ini, penjualan domestik tercatat sebesar 51%, sedangkan sisanya 49% merupakan ekspor. Pada akhir periode ini, lima negara tujuan ekspor terbesar ditempati oleh Vietnam, Bangladesh, Kamboja, India, dan Thailand. Beban Pokok Pendapatan dan Beban Operasional Beban pokok pendapatan terealisasi sebesar Rp17,78 Triliun, atau turun sebesar 2% secara YoY. Penurunan ini seiring dengan penurunan volume operasional, baik produksi batu bara yang turun 10% YoY maupun angkutan yang juga turun 6% YoY. Selain itu, dari sisi stripping ratio juga tercatat lebih rendah di angka 5,26x dibandingkan dengan periode yang sama tahun sebelumnya di angka 6,17x. Adapun konflik di Selat Hormuz yang terjadi pada akhir Februari 2026 berdampak pada peningkatan harga BBM/liter menjadi Rp19.503,- per liter s.d. 30 Juni 2026, atau naik sebesar +34% YoY. Hal tersebut tentunya berdampak pada peningkatan biaya bahan bakar yang digunakan oleh Perusahaan, baik kebutuhan jasa penambangan maupun angkutan kereta api. Namun di tengah tantangan tersebut, biaya operasional perseroan tetap terjaga dengan program efisiensi yang tepat sasaran dan disiplin operasional secara berkelanjutan. Di samping itu, secara YoY, beban operasional naik sebesar Rp184,84 miliar atau 13% dari periode yang sama sebelumnya. Peningkatan ini terutama disebabkan oleh adanya kenaikan di komponen beban umum dan administrasi. Penghasilan Keuangan, Biaya Keuangan, dan Bagian atas Laba Neto Entitas Asosiasi dan Ventura Bersama Perusahaan membukukan penghasilan keuangan sebesar Rp108,58 miliar, atau naik 6% YoY, terutama disebabkan oleh kenaikan laba dari nilai tukar mata uang asing. Biaya keuangan tercatat Rp98,99 miliar atau turun 25% YoY seiring dengan penurunan beban bunga dari pinjaman bank. Sedangkan bagian atas laba neto entitas asosiasi dan ventura bersama tercatat Rp438,30 miliar, naik signifikan dari realisasi periode yang sama tahun lalu sebesar Rp209,86 miliar. Perusahaan membukukan laba tahun berjalan yang dapat diatribusikan kepada pemilik entitas induk sebesar Rp2,65 Triliun.

LAPORAN POSISI KEUANGAN KONSOLIDASIAN Total Aset Total aset pada 30 Juni 2026 tercatat sebesar Rp48,10 triliun atau naik 10% dibandingkan akhir tahun 2025 yang tercatat sebesar Rp43,92 triliun. Hal tersebut terutama disebabkan oleh peningkatan kas dan setara kas serta piutang usaha Perusahaan seiring dengan peningkatan pendapatan Perusahaan. Total Liabilitas dan Ekuitas Total liabilitas pada 30 Juni 2026 tercatat naik 7% dari posisi pada akhir Desember 2025 sebesar Rp21,30 triliun, menjadi Rp22,76 triliun. Sedangkan ekuitas tercatat naik 12% dari posisi akhir Desember 2025 sebesar Rp22,62 triliun menjadi Rp25,34 triliun pada 30 Juni 2026. LAPORAN ARUS KAS KONSOLIDASIAN Arus Kas dari Aktivitas Operasi Arus kas bersih yang diperoleh dari aktivitas operasi tercatat naik dari sebelumnya Rp2,22 triliun menjadi Rp4,63 triliun atau naik 108% YoY. Kenaikan ini terutama disebabkan oleh kenaikan penerimaan dari pelanggan. Arus Kas dari Aktivitas Investasi Arus kas bersih yang digunakan untuk aktivitas investasi tercatat turun dari periode sebelumnya Rp1,34 triliun menjadi Rp1,26 triliun sampai dengan 30 Juni 2026. Penurunan ini terutama disebabkan oleh penurunan perolehan aset tetap dan tanaman produktif. Arus Kas dari Aktivitas Pendanaan Arus kas bersih yang digunakan untuk aktivitas pendanaan tercatat naik dari periode sebelumnya Rp1,00 triliun menjadi Rp1,06 triliun sampai dengan 30 Juni 2026. Kenaikan ini seiring dengan adanya peningkatan atas pembayaran pinjaman bank. Belanja Modal Belanja modal sampai dengan 30 Juni 2026 terealisasi sebesar Rp1,09 triliun dengan mayoritas digunakan untuk Pengembangan angkutan batu bara relasi Tanjung Enim- Kramasan.

Trillion Net Profit in First Half 2026
Jakarta, September 1st, 2026 – PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk (PTBA) announced its
consolidated financial results for the six-month period ended June 30th, 2026 (1H2026).
President Director Bambang Ismawan stated:
“As operating conditions became more favorable, the Company successfully drove a
recovery in production while strengthening export sales performance, both quarter-on-
quarter and year-on-year. Amid the momentum of rising global coal prices, the Company
capitalized on market opportunities through adaptive sales strategies, backed by careful
and targeted cost-efficiency programs. These achievements reflect the Company's
ability to capture market momentum effectively while maintaining operational discipline
and cost efficiency as the foundation for sustainable growth.”
Highlights
PTBA recorded a net profit of IDR2.65 trillion and EBITDA of IDR4.27 Trillion, with
net profit margin and EBITDA margin reaching 12% and 19%, respectively.
PTBA recorded a recovery in operational performance in the second quarter of
2026, marked by quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) improvements in both production (up
94%) and sales (up 8%). Additionally, the average selling price (ASP) rose by 14%
QoQ and 10% year-on-year (YoY).
In terms of capital expenditure realization, as of 1H 2026, 30% of the annual target
has been achieved, equivalent to IDR1.09 trillion.

1H2026 Financial Performance Analysis CONSOLIDATED STATEMENT OF PROFIT OR LOSS Revenue and Average Selling Price PTBA recorded revenue of Rp22.03 trillion through the end of June 2026, an 8% year-on- year (YoY) increase. Although sales volume declined by 2% YoY, the Newcastle Index rose by 25% YoY and the ICI-3 by 15% YoY, resulting in a 10% YoY increase in the average selling price. Regarding the sales mix for the period ending June 2026, domestic sales accounted for 51%, while exports made up the remaining 49%. By the end of this period, the top five export destinations were Vietnam, Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, and Thailand. Cost of Goods Sold and Operating Expenses Cost of goods sold amounted to IDR17.78 trillion, representing a 2% decrease year-on- year. This decline was in line with lower operational volumes, with coal production down by 10% YoY and transportation volume decreasing by 6% YoY. Also, the stripping ratio improved to 5.26x compared to 6.42x in the same period of the previous year. Meanwhile, the conflict in the Strait of Hormuz in late February 2026 resulted in fuel prices rising to IDR19,503 per liter as of June 30, 2026, representing a 34% increase YoY. The increase in fuel prices resulted in higher fuel costs for the Company, particularly for mining services and rail transportation. Despite these headwinds, the Company successfully kept its operating costs under control through targeted efficiency programs and sustained operational discipline. In addition, on a year-on-year basis, operating expenses increased by IDR184.84 billion, or 13%, compared to the same period last year. This increase was primarily driven by higher general and administrative expenses. Finance Income, Finance Costs, and Share in Net Profit of Associates and Joint Ventures The Company recorded finance income of IDR108.58 billion, a 6% year-on-year increase driven primarily by gains from foreign exchange fluctuations. Financial expenses stood at IDR98.99 billion, down 25% year-on-year, reflecting a reduction in interest expenses on bank loans. Meanwhile, the share of net profit from associates and joint ventures amounted to IDR438.30 billion, a significant increase from the IDR209.86 billion recorded in the same period last year. CONSOLIDATED STATEMENTS OF FINANCIAL POSITION Total Assets Total assets as of June 30, 2026, were recorded at IDR48.10 trillion, a 10% increase from the IDR43.92 trillion recorded at the end of 2025. This was primarily driven by an increase in the Company's cash and cash equivalents and trade receivables, alongside the growth in the Company's revenue. Total Liabilities and Equity Total liabilities as of June 30, 2026, rose by 7% from IDR21.30 trillion at the end of December 2025 to IDR22.76 trillion. Meanwhile, equity increased by 12% from IDR22.62 trillion at the end of December 2025 to IDR25.34 trillion as of June 30, 2026. CONSOLIDATED STATEMENTS OF CASH FLOWS Cash Flows from Operating Activities Net cash flows from operating activities increased from IDR2.22 trillion to IDR4.63 trillion, representing a 108% YoY growth. This increase was primarily driven by an increase in cash receipts from customers. Cash Flows from Investing Activities Net cash used for investing activities decreased from IDR1.34 trillion in the previous period to IDR1.26 trillion for the period ending June 30, 2026. This decrease was primarily driven by a reduction in the acquisition of property, plant, and equipment and bearer plants. Cash Flows from Financing Activities Net cash flows used for financing activities increased from IDR1.00 trillion in the previous period to IDR1.06 trillion as of June 30, 2026. This increase was in line with bank loan repayments. Capital Expenditures Capital expenditure as of June 30, 2026, was realized at IDR1.09 trillion, with the majority allocated to the development of coal transportation on the Tanjung Enim–Kramasan railway route.
