     BUMI Awarded 4 Prestigeous Emission Reduction Awards by
                     Investor Trust & BGK

Jakarta, June 7th, 2024

PT Bumi Resources Tbk. (“BUMI” or “Company”) and its subsidiary, PT Kaltim Prima Coal (“KPC”)
earned a number of awards at Best Corporate Transparency & Emission Reduction Award 2024. The event
was held by Investortrust.id in collaboration with Bumi Global Karbon Foundation (BGK) in Jakarta (29/5).

The calculation of emission reductions in this event is based on data from 2023 sustainable reports of each
company. Based on this, BUMI received two highest awards, namely Green Elite and Gold Plus. Apart
from that, in line with BUMI, KPC was conferred two awards, namely Green Elite and Silver Plus. The
Green Elite Award is an award category that shows transparency in reducing corporate emissions, while
Silver Plus and Gold Plus show transparency in calculating corporate emissions.

Those achievements are the results of an assessment based on transparency of data on carbon emissions
produced directly and indirectly and reductions of greenhouse gas emissions included in BUMI's
sustainable report with POJK 51 of 2017 standards and Global Reporting Initiative.

In 2023, BUMI with KPC and Arutmin Indonesia carried out a number of greenhouse gas emission
reduction programs—such as the use of biodiesel (B30) and solar panels—which have succeeded in
reducing GHG emissions by 410,411.9 tons of Co2 equivalent.
