3UMN xx, (hp antam £ PRESS RELEASE PT ANTAM Tbk For immediate release ANTAM Guarantees Authenticity and Purity of its Precious Metal Gold Products Jakarta, May 31, 2024 - In accordance with the news in the media that there are 109 tons of counterfeit ANTAM gold circulating in the community in the period 2010-2021, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM: IDX: ANTM, ASX: ATM), member of PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (Persero) (MIND ID) - the State-Owned Enterprise of Mining Industry, stated that the news is incorrect and the Company guarantees the authenticity and purity of its precious metal gold products, manufactured through its Precious Metals Processing and Refinery Business Unit. ANTAM Corporate Secretary, Syarif Faisal Alkadrie said that all ANTAM precious metal gold products derived with official certificates, and processed at the only gold processing and refining plant in Indonesia that has been certified by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA). Therefore, it can be ascertained that all ANTAM Precious Metal brand gold products circulating in the community are genuine and guaranteed purity levels. “The 109 tons of precious metal gold products being accused by the Attorney General's Office are considered related to the unofficial use of the LM ANTAM brand, while the products themselves are original products that produced at the ANTAM plant," he said. The company also understands the concerns and unrest of customers of precious metal gold products. “Currently, all ANTAM precious metal product communication channels are available to provide information needed by customers through ALMIRA WhatsApp 0811-1002-002 and Call Center 0804-1-888-888,” Faisal added.
