         PT ESSA Industries Indonesia Tbk. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") hereby informs that the
         Banggai Ammonia Plant (BAP) operated by PT Panca Amara Utama (a subsidiary of the Company) will
         undergo a Pre-scheduled plant closure, scheduled to take place for + 1 week started from 27 May
         2024.

         The Pre-scheduled plant closure is conducted as part of the Company's scheduled maintenance
         activities to maintain optimal operational facility standards, even though this activity will have an impact
         in the decrease of ammonia production. Such activity is in line with Company's commitment of
         operational excellence.

         BAP is recognized as the most efficient Ammonia Plant globally, leveraging the KBR Reforming
         Exchanger System & Purifier Technology. This activity is essential for BAP to uphold performance
         reliability and operational excellence.
