BUMI RECOGNIZED AMONGST TOP 7 CORPORATE TAXPAYERS
IN INDONESIA FOR 2023 BY DIRECTOR GENERAL TAXATION
Jakarta, 26 April 2024

PT Bumi Resources Tbk. (“BUMI” or “Company”) won an award as Corporate Taxpayer with
Largest Contribution to the Exchequer for 2023 from the Regional Office of Directorate General of
Taxes of Special Jakarta (“Kanwil DJP”) on 23 April in Jakarta. The award was received by BUMI’s
Director, Mr. Rio Supin. This event was attended by Director General of Taxes, Mr. Suryo Utomo
and opened by Head of the Kanwil DJP, Mr. Irawan.

Taxpayers who received such appreciation and were invited by the Kanwil DJP have undergone a
selection process determined by certain criteria within the respective work units of the Kanwil DJP.

Out of mining listed companies registered with Tax Service Office for Publicly Listed Companies
(being a working unit of the Kanwil DJP), BUMI was conferred the award as Taxpayer with the
largest contribution to the Exchequer in 2023.

President Director of PT Bumi Resources Tbk., Adika Nuraga Bakrie pointed out, “The company
highly appreciates this award. BUMI upholds the principles of compliance, especially compliance
with tax regulations, withholding, payment and filing of taxes in a timely manner.”

Mr. Aga further said, “BUMI and all its subsidiaries will continue to contribute to the country and
without assistance from the government, the Company hopes to increase tax payments which will
have a positive impact on the national development.”
