Company Overview PT Multipolar Tbk (the Company) is a holding company that conducts its business activities through subsidiaries in various fields, including telecommunications services, information technology, general trading including import, export, interinsular, local and retail trading, property/real estate development and management services, as well as building space rental services and investments. The Company began its activities as an electronics retailer before expanding into a holding company for strategic investments in the consumer retail, information technology, and other business sectors. The Company's transformation in 2021 is a manifestation of its increased commitment to support and accelerate digital economic growth in Indonesia and solidify its position as a leading technology investment company in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. In the Retail Segment, the Company invests in PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk (MPPA) and PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (MDS), which are currently market leaders in the middle-class consumer category throughout Indonesia, from Sumatra to Papua. MPPA operates various multi-format store formats, namely the following retail networks: 1. hypermarkets under the Hypermart brand; 2. supermarkets under Foodmart, which consist of: (1) Foodmart Primo (premium segment) and (2) Foodmart Fresh (fresh products segment); 3. Boston Health and Beauty for personal care and health products; 4. FMX convenience store; and 5. Hyfresh, a community-based supermarket offering a wide range of daily household necessities, supported by competitive pricing in the market. MDS is a pioneer of the modern department store concept in Indonesia and remains the top choice for affordable clothing, footwear, and beauty products. In the Information Technology segment, the Company has invested in PT Multipolar Technology (MLPT). MLPT continues to support the acceleration of digital transformation in Indonesia by enhancing capabilities in the latest technologies such as AI, Automation, Data, Hybrid Infrastructure, and Security, while at the same time continuing to expand its digital & technology investment portfolio.
