PTPI menetapkan target penurunan emisi secara bertahap dibandingkan dengan skenario BAU, yaitu short term

Steps that have been taken and emission reductions that have been achieved compared to the previous year
1. Implementation of Carbon Capture and Storage CCS for
the production of 660,000 TPY of blue ammonia in Masela.
2. Utilization of 180 MW of renewable energy and feedstock
for the production of 148,500 TPY of hybrid green ammonia.
3. Gradual increase in the utilization of renewable energy
sources, targeting a total capacity of 195 MW.
4. Implementation of a soda ash plant with a capacity of 2
x 300,000 TPY for the utilization of CO2 of approximately
250,000 tons CO2eq.
5. Implementation of energy efficiency programs across
several subsidiaries, including the replacement of the Pusri
3per4 plant with 3B, the revamping of PKT 2, and other similar
projects.
6. Increased adoption of electric vehicles.
7. Transitioning electricity sources from fossil fuels to green
energy through the purchase of Renewable Energy
Certificates, the utilization of solar power plants, and cofiring
with biomass.
8. Implementation of Nature-based Solutions NBS programs
through agroforestry and other reforestation initiatives.
