Bukit Asam (PTBA) Collaborates with Three State-Owned Enterprise
Banks on the Export Proceeds from Nature-Resourced Export Goods
(DHE SDA) Facility Utilization

Jakarta, October 2, 2024 - PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) with its three banks
partner namely PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Bank BNI), PT Bank
Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Bank BRI) and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk
(Bank Mandiri) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Export
Proceeds from Nature-Resourced Export Goods (DHE SDA) Facility
Utilization which is conducted in Jakarta.

The signing was carryout between Farida Thamrin, Director of Finance & Risk
Management at PTBA, Budi Purwanto, EVP of Corporate Banking at Bank
Mandiri, Ditya Maharani, SVP of the Corporate Banking Division at BNI, and
Teguh Tofani, Division Head of the Energy & Mining Division at BRI, on
Monday, September 30, 2024.

Attended at the ceremony to witness the signing were Akhmad Fazri, Director
of Finance at PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (Persero), Arief Rachman, Director
of the Financial Market Development Department at Bank Indonesia, and
Mochamad Rizaldi, SEVP of Corporate Banking at Bank Mandiri.

"The Memorandum of Understanding strengthens the collaboration and
mutual business supportive benefits between PTBA and its bank partners. In
addition, the company also hopes to be able to optimize the DHE SDA forthe
sustainability and development of the nature-resource industries in Indonesia,
so we as a company can contribute more to the economy of Indonesia," said
Farida Thamrin.

The DHE SDA scheme has been regulated in Bank Indonesia Regulation
Number 7, 2023 regarding the Export Proceeds (DHE) and Import Payments
(DPI) (PBI No. 7, year 2023), and The Regulation of Members of the Board of
Governors of Bank of Indonesia (BI) No. 4, year 2023 regarding DHE and DPI
which has been amended for the last time by The Regulation of Members of
the Board of Governors of BI No. 6 year 2024 (PADG BI, year 2024).

“The company will focus on the policies and regulations that prioritize the
Good Corporate Governance Principles in order to utilize the DHE SDA,” said
Farida.

As a coal exporting company, PTBA obligated to allocate DHE SDA at the
minimum of 30 percent in the Indonesian financial system, either it is in a form
of Special Account or other financial instrument as regulated in the
Government Regulation Number 36, year 2023 regarding Export Proceeds
from Business Activities, Management, and/or Natural Resources Processing

(Government Regulation No. 36, year 2023), whereas the minimum placement
length is three (3) months since the DHE SDA fund been received.

PTBA is always active in placing DHE SDA. As per June 2024 PTBA Financial
Report the placement of DHE SDA was IDR 1.6 billion or eguivalent to 95.8
million USD through Indonesian financial instruments that are available in
Bank of Indonesia or its bank partners.

On the same occasion, Arief Rachman mentioned that the scheme for utilizing
DHE SDA is designed to enhance the cash flow capabilities of domestic
companies. “We at Bank Indonesia strongly support this initiative. We will
continue to facilitate all the national companies that comply to DHE SDA
regulation so they could access the competitive funding within our banking
system,” he said.

He also expressed his appreciation for PTBA, which has become a pioneer
within the MIND ID Group in utilizing DHE SDA. “I would like to Congratulate
PT Bukit Asam Tbk and our colleagues from Himbara. I hope this collaboration
can be emulated by other companies under the MIND ID group, as it serves as
an excellent example,” he concluded.
