PTPI telah menyempurnakan peta jalan (roadmap) dekarbonisasi melalui validasi dan verifikasi target
dekarbonisasi oleh pihak ketiga. Peta jalan ini disusun berdasarkan rerata tahun dasar 2010-2013 dan
mengacu pada target nasional Enhanced Nationally Determined Contribution (ENDC) untuk tahun 2030,
Second Nationally Determined Contribution (SNDC) untuk target tahun 2035, dan Net Zero Emission (NZE)
untuk target tahun 2050. Peta jalan tersebut mencerminkan komitmen Perusahaan untuk menjalankan
agenda dekarbonisasi secara bertahap seiring dengan peningkatan kapasitas produksi, sekaligus
mendukung target nasional dan NZE serta selaras dengan komitmen global, termasuk Perjanjian Paris.
Sebagai respons, PTPI menetapkan target penurunan emisi secara bertahap dibandingkan dengan skenario
BAU, yaitu
:- target jangka pendek (2030)
- target jangka menengah (2035)
- target jangka panjang (2050).

Langkah-langkah yang sudah dilakukan dan penurunan emisi yang telah dicapai dibandingkan tahun
sebelumnya.
Penjelasan:
PTPI telah menetapkan peta jalan dekarbonisasi emisi GRK Cakupan 1 dan 2 dengan target penurunan emisi
secara bertahap dibandingkan skenario BAU. Peta jalan ini mencakup target jangka pendek pada tahun 2030
dengan penurunan emisi sebesar 24% dari BAU, target jangka menengah pada tahun 2035 sebesar 45% dari
BAU, serta jangka panjang pada tahun 2050 sebesar 96% dari BAU, yang setara dengan pencapaian NZE.
Untuk tahun 2025, inisiatif yang dilakukan meliputi :
- efisiensi energi dan pengalihan bahan bakar (fuel switching)
- peralihan bahan bakar dari batu bara ke gas alam
- pemanfaatan CO2 untuk CO2 cair dan dry ice
- pemanfaatan energi hijau (green energy) dan sertifikat energi terbarukan (Renewable Energy Certificate/REC)
- Solusi Berbasis Alam (Nature-based Solutions)
- serta penggunaan kendaraan listrik.

kepentingan, mencegah perilaku tidak etis, serta memastikan bahwa calon memiliki kompetensi dan
integritas yang memadai dalam menjalankan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya. Selain itu, Perseroan turut
mempertimbangkan keberagaman latar belakang, perspektif, dan kompetensi yang relevan guna
mendukung efektivitas pengawasan serta kualitas pengambilan keputusan strategis. Seluruh proses seleksi
dilaksanakan berdasarkan prinsip meritokrasi sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku.

PTPI has refined its decarbonization roadmap through the validation and verification of decarbonization
targets by a third party. This roadmap was developed based on the 2010-2013 baseline average and refers
to national targets, namely the Enhanced Nationally Determined Contribution (ENDC) for 2030, the Second
Nationally Determined Contribution (SNDC) for 2035, and Net Zero Emissions (NZE) for 2050. The roadmap
reflects the Company's commitment to executing a gradual decarbonization agenda alongside its production
capacity expansion, while supporting national and NZE targets and remaining aligned with global
commitments, including the Paris Agreement. In response, PTPI establishes gradual emission reduction
targets compared to the BAU scenario, consisting of :
- a short-term target (2030)
- a mid-term target (2035)
- a long-term target (2050)

Steps that have been taken and emission reductions that have been achieved compared to the previous year
PTPI has established a decarbonization roadmap for Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions, featuring gradual
emission reduction targets compared to the BAU scenario. This roadmap includes a short-term target by 2030
with a 24% emission reduction from BAU, a medium-term target by 2035 with a 45% reduction from BAU, and a
long-term target by 2050 with a 96% reduction from BAU, which is equivalent to achieving NZE. For 2025, the
initiatives include :
- energy efficiency and fuel switching
- transitioning fuel from coal to natural gas
- utilizing CO2 for liquid CO2 and dry ice
- leveraging green energy and Renewable Energy Certificates (REC)
- implementing Nature-based Solutions
- adopting electric vehicles.

responsibilities. Additionally, the Company considers diversity in background, perspective, and relevant
competencies to support the effectiveness of oversight and the quality of strategic decision-making. The
