             Elnusa Tagging Technology Supports Whale Shark
                      Conservation in Central Papua
Jakarta, 2 July 2024 - PT Elnusa Tbk (ELNUSA, IDX: ELSA) through its subsidiary, PT Sigma Cipta Utama (SCU), which operates in the management data
business and ICT (Information, Communication and Technology) solutions, plays a role in the identification and monitoring the movement of whale sharks
in Cenderawasih Bay National Park (TNTC), Nabire Regency, Central Papua. In this program, SCU is an implementing partner trusted by the Pertamina
Foundation where the project is one of the CSR collaboration programs of PT Pertamina Internasional Shipping with PT Pertamina (Persero) through the
Pertamina Foundation, as Pertamina's support for the conservation of protected marine animals.

Known as a giant animal that roams the oceans, the whale shark (Rhincodon Typus) is threatened in Indonesia's oceans, based on the Decree of the
Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia Number 19/Kepmen-KP/2013, determining the whale shark as an animal that is
protected from various extractive activities. In Indonesia, whale sharks are distributed in several water areas including Gorontalo Bay, Banggai Islands,
Probolinggo, Saleh Bay, Talisayan, Kaimana and Cenderawasih Bay. At TNTC, 7 new whale sharks have been recorded as a result of monitoring carried out
by the Whale Shark Center (WSC) Kwatisore which has been managed since November 2023 by Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) and the
Cenderawasih Bay National Park Center (BBTNTC) Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK)

This spotted shark has a very important role in marine ecosystems and ecology. Their large size and friendly nature towards humans often pose a threat
to marine vertebrates themselves. Whale sharks are often found injured as a result of hitting fish trunks, hitting boat bodies and even being hit by the
propellers of fishermen's or tourist boats, and often get caught in fishermen's nets. Seeing these conditions, mitigation efforts are needed to reduce cases
of whale shark deaths, one of which is by installing tracking devices on whale shark fins (Tagging) to record and process data on whale shark behavior.

In this case, SCU has ICT service competence and has received the trust of the Pertamina Foundation to carry out the process of installing tagging tools on
whale shark fins. The tagging tools are equipped with antennas that can send signals and data to satellites so that the movements of whale sharks can be
monitored via a satellite system. The results of monitoring data on whale shark movements will be used by PIS to study the migration routes of whale
sharks in Papuan waters and adjust the shipping routes of PIS ships so as not to disturb the whale sharks' paths.

Elnusa Main Director Bachtiar Soeria Atmadja explained, "We are excited to be able to contribute to the whale shark conservation program in
Cenderawasih Bay National Park through our tagging technology. This is our concrete step in supporting conservation and preservation efforts of the
marine environment. "This collaboration not only shows our commitment to corporate social responsibility, but also proves our ability to provide
technological solutions that are beneficial for the sustainability of Indonesia's marine ecosystem," said Bachtiar.

Meanwhile, SCU Director Adi Yatama Adi Guna, said "This whale shark tagging project is a source of pride for SCU, that competent competence in the field
of ICT has been implemented again, so that the Pertamina Foundation has been given the trust to carry out the tagging process for the 3 whale sharks at
TNTC . This shows that we have an important role in supporting Pertamina's efforts to realize SDGs (Suistainable Development Goals) Point 14 Life Bellow
Water. "Hopefully in the future SCU will continue to be involved and contribute to Pertamina Group's strategic projects in terms of environmental
sustainability and other businesses," concluded Adi.
