Steps that have been taken and emission reductions that have been achieved compared to the previous year
In 2025, our Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions intensity decreased 18.3% relative to the 2018 base year. These
reductions are attributed to our energy efficiency initiatives and the transition from fossil fuels to renewable
energy sources. Energy efficiency is promoted through several initiatives, such as the implementation of an
energy management system ISO 50001, which is further strengthened by operational controls, production line
automation, and energy equipment optimization. Meanwhile, the use of renewable energy sources is carried out
by replacing fossil fuels that produce emissions with solar photovoltaic and biomass energy, primarily derived
from oil palm shells.
